If we're lucky, maybe Paramount will re-release the original in it's uncut form.

NotLD 3-D was a crapfest. Sid Haig was slumming big time in that one. One of the worst films I've seen in a while. As stated earlier in this thread, one would hope that the original would get an uncut re-release since it has been confirmed that the footage exists. Most likely won't happen though since Paramount still holds the rights and doesn't give a shit.

My money's on you swiping her from Jay. As a poker player who's fimiliar with odds, the odds say you're the favorite in this case.:) Rest well, knowing that there is some hope, although both are around Big-Game lottery odds, approx 2.3 billion to 1. The uncut dvd is 2.5 billion.:(

Want a sure bet? Take me smoking weed tonight, I'm a 1 to million favorite. Last I heard Vegas wasn't taking any action on my smoking though.:D

If Vegas had odds for the uncut MBV DVD, then you'd bet Paramount would be putting it out. :D

Bigdaddyhorse, you just fucking officially slayed me dude...I'm talking laugh out loud, co-workers looking at me like I'm crazy slayed me. As a poker player myself, the odds are that I'll be taking my first hit of the day in about 45 minutes, and I'll be thinking about this thread when I do it. Too funny man! Cheers to good weed!

No way. I'd bet small against it and hope to lose again since I'd love to see that before I die, but won't ever bet on Paramount re-visiting a horror movie for an uncut version. Teenage sex comedy? I'd bet the house on Paramount coming out with that!

Glad to brighten your day. I had to start a little late, but I've started.

Now I just have to try and get this poker game back together. I went out at 5 with a full game lined up, came back at 6 and now everyone's out for some reason or another. I want to play. Bitches!

Some of you locals should organize a mob to disrupt production. Take lots of eggs and hurl them at everything in sight!

The terrific Tom Atkins, probably best known to action fans as Michael Hunsaker from “Lethal Weapon”, has snagged a role in the Patrick Lussier-directed remake of “My Bloody Valentine” (only this one's in 3-D!).

Atkins, whose other credits include “Halloween III : Season of the Witch”, “Escape from New York” and “Striking Distance”, joins Jensen Ackles and Jaime King for the film, set to lens shortly in Pittsburgh.

No word on who 71-year-old Atkins is playing... but it'll be great to see him back on the big screen!

THATS GREAT! I wish Tom would get more roles. He has to wear a tan overcoat and say THRILL ME! Only us horror geeks would get it.Thats awesome.

  18. This is a movie that does not need a remake. Much less one in 3-D!! That NOTLD 3-D was a major p.o.s. I would love to see the original in its uncut form. You know, even if there's no extras, as long as it's uncut, I wouldn't really care.

((cough cough)).....taking a cue from BigDaddyHorse, I am sitting back remembering the fine summer on Showtime when every month a new horror flick would debut late at night, and I finally got to see MBV (the original of course) after not being allowed to see it in theaters...

I wonder what ever happened to Cynthia Dale, since her career went down the shithole after Heavenly Bodies (or Body Rock, or whatever the hell that was)...
