Well for these particular orders I used:
DTM.at (La Banda del Gobbo), DVD Pacific (Shoot First, Die later and Grand Duel), Amazon.com (Emergency Squad (second hand) ), Amazon.co.uk (Padroni della Citta (second hand) ), Amazon.de (Island of the Fishmen/ Fishmen and their Queen, the two Ringos and Tepepa), Amazon.it (Assassination, Liberi Armati E Pericolosi, Napoli Serenata Calibro 9, Squadra Antiscippo + two CDs) and Kultvideo.com (the two Camera Obscura releases).

The NoShame DVD of Emergency Squad is in mint condition :) I'm happy..
Looking forward to watching all these movies. Last week I watched the Fishmen duo, but I intend to watch them chronologically now. Started with the first Ringo movie which was fun. Watched in Italian with German subs. I found out it works great that way :D Oh the fun I will have coming weeks! :)

Hopefully this will be part of my next order. A Few expensive ones, so I think I'll only add some music to the mix later on :p :

    • Gang War in Milan (RARO)
    • Formula For a Murder (Shameless)
    • Bava Book (or Giallo Book pt.1?) by Troy Howarth
    • The Killer Reserved Nine Seats (Camera Obscura)
    • Nine Guests for a Crime (Camera Obscura)
    • Four Flies on Grey Velvet (KOCH)
    • Johnny Hamlet (KOCH)

Johnny Hamlet is definitely one of the really good spaghetti westerns. And one of the very, very few where a Mexican is actually cast as a Mexican! The great Gilbert Roland. I own the Koch dvd myself.

There's so many Spaghetti's to choose from. Many of those aren't really worth it I think. Better to check out the real classics first! Some minor ones added just for fun now and then :)
According to the Any Gun Can Play book this one's very good visually and, together with Keoma, one of Castellari's best Westerns. Sometimes reminding of Mario Bava. Story idea by Sergio Corbucci. It's OOP but I found a few places that still carry it.

Was this reprinted? Or am I mistaken in thinking that this is a very rare book?

You're right about there being many a clunker in the genre. You need a guide of some sort to see you through to the really good ones. Fortunately Johnny Hamlet is one such picture. I actually think it's better than Keoma. It lacks all of the Peckinpah slow motion Castellari become known for, and it does indeed have very good visuals. There's a bravura camera move early on when Johnny visits his father's grave. I think Castellari explains how it's done on the DVD in an interview.

    Stunt Squad

    Next up:

    Johnny Hamlet
    Nine Guests ...

And perhaps I'll order that Eurocrime doc by Mike Malloy.
Still in doubt though. I'm pretty sure it's a fun doc but I'm afraid I'll probably only watch it once ....
