a little off topic here, but what the hell: Crystal, do you have a lot of trouble ordering from the U.S. ? Every time I order something I have to pay customs and import taxes. Usually it's about 25€ or more!!! It really pisses me off!

I only had to pay when I ordered from Amazon a few years back.Only ordered from them twice. After that I ordered from several cheaper (!) online stores (DVD Universe,Xploited,Absurd-Online and DVD Pacific) and never had to pay custom taxes.
Could be that I'm lucky though because officially we need to pay 19%.
Still with the prices in those stores the discs are still cheaper.
Compare these prices with those of Chainsaw,Boudisque or Cinecity (here in Holland) and you're still better off buying from abroad.
But these three mentioned are still great and they do have some great stuff. That La Setta disc I just ordered comes from Cinecity and cost me € 23.The only other place that I could find was DVD.it that sells it for only €12,99.BUT.......they charge €15 for shipping!!

    Just ordered:
    • The Case Of The Scorpion's Tail (NoShame)
    • The Strange Vice Of Signora Ward (NoShame)
    • All The Colors Of The Dark (Shriek Show)
I've sold my copies of Der Schwanz Des Skorpions (X-Rated) and Die Farben Der Nacht (Marketing) to get these.
    I think I did well.

Excellent taste! Martino is still an underrated director and it is nice to see companies digging deeper into his films and releasing them on DVD.

All of the discs mentioned above are the best versions to purchase and none of them will break your bank. Nice pickups!

Have you ever seen this one? I was interested once I read it was a bit like Mario Bava's "Shock". I have it on pre-order along with "Your Vice.." , but I was just looking for some info on it.

    Damn!
I just checked Amazon.com if they shipped my book (Blood And Black lace) but now it's delayed till October 5 with a delivery estimate between october 18 and December 8!:eek1:.
It sucks (quite a bit) because I just want the damn Book!.
Amazon was the cheapest option for this book....
Anyway,I waited a long time to buy it so I guess I can wait a little longer.

Yeah you might have to wait a bit. I ordered it from Amazon.com on June 12th and they didn't ship it out to me untill August 5th.

I placed my order August 27.Between August 27 and December 8 are four months!
At least they won't charge untill it ships.
It's funny though. They probably have to order it from the UK themselves.
But when I order it from Amazon.co.uk,which is much nearer to Holland,I pay more! For the same book!Even Amazon.de is more expensive while it's theoratically possible for me to drive there and get the book.
But I want this book and will wait for it.

I don't think you will wait 4 months. My first shipping projection expired and they wrote me asking me if I still wanted to wait longer I said yes. They gave me a new estimate for like two months but it came around two weeks later.

Well they shipped my book a couple of days ago!Huzza!
The delivery estimate is December 8 though. But as you said it could be here much sooner.
Orders from the US usually take 2 to 3 weeks to get here.
    Looking forward to it,oh yeah!

Normally tomorrow The New Barbarians and Almost Human should drop in my mailbox, I have high expectations for the latter, which might be bad 'cause 99% of high expectations never get fulfilled :(

Still, seems to me to be a safe bet!

OK,after ordering both "Suspected Death of a Minor" (Martino/Tarantini) and "The Puzzle" (Tessari),I placed another order:
    • Cannibal Apocalypse (Margheriti)
    • Take a Hard Ride (Margheriti)
    • Hercules in the Haunted World (Bava)
    • Street Law (Castellari)
I ordered only one Castellari disc.My very first Euro Crime!Seems to me it's one of his better films judging by the reviews I read.If I like it I'll check out the other two (and check out those NoShame discs on the way).
