Don't think those are the best prices in the world.

And, the BABL DVD is absolutely a disgrace.

yeah they aren't the best prices but there's a further 20% off the price.. and DDD is without a doubt the best shipping price for me by at least USD$60

You picked out some awesome movies. I have most of those titles and especially love Lizard in a Woman's Skin & Bird With the Crystal Plumage.

    I highly recommend these:

All the Colors of the Dark (probably in my top 3 giallos)
    Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh
    Case of the Scorpion's Tail
    Short Night of Glass Dolls
    Case of the Bloody Iris

I second All the Colors of the Dark--that one is wonderful!

No English subs for Cat in the Brain. The audio is English with removable Dutch subs (is what I read).I'll check it out when I can.

I'm not going to recommend you any Gialli, you already listed some great ones, but there's one that gets overlooked quite often :

Luigi Cozzi's The Killer must Kill Again.

Just watched this recently and really enjoyed it!

I think that the Luca guy was a pimp. He gets shot down for sex by his girlfriend several times, then he nails some slut on the side of the road while he's out to get food for his girlfriend! THEN he offers a three way between himself, the blonde slut, and his girlfriend!

Also, my latest a few Euro titles were included in my order with DDD recently:

    - House With Laughing Windows
    - Perversion Story
    - Don't Torture a Duckling

Damn, reading your list makes me drool.Even if I have all most of them already :D
Why didn't you include Your Vice .. in the DDD order? Was it out of stock?

And you ordered the Italian Solange disc.Tell me what you think of this supposedly superiour version, please. It's one of my alltime favorites.
    http://whiggles.landofwhimsy.com/writings/dvdimage-solange.html

I have the Shreik(;)) Show disc which serves me fine but could do with an upgrade. At the moment though,I'm happy with it.

I haven't seen any version of solange so i won't be able to compare but i'll definitely give you my impression :)

As for Vice... well they (DDD) dont seem to stock it.. i think they're skipping that whole label for the 20% off sale as i noticed a few titles i wanted that weren't listed there.. it's probably cost me a fair bit to get that title from chainsaw.. maybe i should grab it from diabolik with all the colors of the dark and remove it from my chainsaw order

edit: ok, i changed your vice is a locked room for Iguana with the Tongue of Fire at chainsaw.. and i put in another order on amazon for your vice is a locked room.. and all the colors of the dark (couldn't find any other site that had both movies )

today I bought the good, the bad and the ugly. no, not the film, but...

    The Good
    ---------

*Count Dracula by Jess Franco by Kinowelt (2 DVD-edition, even more extra's than the R1 DVD and apparently everey scene intact)
*Inglorious Bastards, German edition by Koch Media, so A/V quality will be great!

    The Bad
    --------

Amityville Dollhouse : cost me around 6€, but I reckon this will be not to good

    The Ugly
    --------

I already had the appaling VHS-like Dawn Of The Mummy from DFW, but I thought I would had a great opportunity buying a widescreen release by CMV Laservision. It had a '16+' sign on it, but I thought it would be the full monty. Wrong! It's cut by 2 minutes and the quality looks as worse as my previous edition, only in widescreen. And the film itself isn't that good either :)

Most of the time I try to buy only "The Good" ;) (totally depends on your definition of good I suppose).

My next Euro order will include the following:
    • La Vittima de Signata
    • The Iguana with the Tongue of Fire
    • Midnight Ripper
    • Stendhal Syndrome (BU)
    • Slaughter Hotel (Raro release)
    • French Sex Murders
    • Night Train Murders
    • Hitcher in the Dark
    • Let Sleeping Corpses
    • Last Hunter
    • Who Can Kill a Child
    • Inglorious Bastards (any good release)
    And some Spaghettis ...
Also might include the Giallo Scrapbook part 2.Who knows...

But for now I have no money for them.Only buy some cheapos every now and then.
Last week bought Reincarnation of Isabel for 10 Euro.

    There's a couple of Spencer/Hill Spaghettis I want:
Both in anamorphic widescreen.Haven't seen them in the store but they'll be around 10 Euro each.

    "Inglorious Bastards (any good release)"

Hi Crystal - long time no see.
Anyway, the Koch Media release of Inglorious Bastards (" Ein Haufen verwegener Hunde") is a good one. Italian and English audio (but no English subs), great transfer and a pretty decent making of.

Just watched and thoroughly enjoyed it.

    I was here,where were you?
There are several releases for this planned in the near future and I'll wait for those.
But yes it seems the Koch release can't be beat.

Haven't seen any of these yet in store but I live in the middle of nowhere but I guess I'll find them eventually :)
    Bol.com does stock them too.

It's been so long since I've seen some good Euro horror, so I needed my fix. Ordered these from Xploited a few hours ago:

    1 x PAURA - LUCIO FULCI REMEMBERED VOL. 1 [LIMITED EDITION] () = $19.95
    1 x THE NEW YORK RIPPER [SPECIAL RESTORED EDITION] (6086) = $16.95
    1 x TORSO (Uncut AWE Release) (6540) = $17.95
    1 x THE IGUANA WITH THE TONGUE OF FIRE (5678) = $21.95
    1 x PUZZLE (4676) = $14.95

Also got Sole Survivor, but that's not Euro. I can't wait to watch these ones, its been forever since I've seen a new giallo.
