I'm talking like..
Mirror of Death
Cheese factor on high-alert.
Murder Elite (1985)
More drama than slasher starring Ali MacGraw being stalked by a "serial killer".
Obscure "slasher" with lots of cheese. Great C-Cast (Aldo Ray, Yvonne De Carlo, Stuart Whitman).
Mark Of Cain (1985)
Canadian slasher about an evil twin stalking his brother.
Bad "supernatural" slasher about a "cursed" dude who goes on a killing spree. Not very bloody.
Reanimated corpse killing townfolks. No budget Don Dohler crapfest with laughable "special effects".
Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind (1990)
"The Haunting Of Julia" revisited. Slasher in disguise, kinda cheesy.
Crazy Fat Ethel
Don't Answer the Phone
My Lovely Burnt Brother and his Squashed Brain
Nail Gun Massacre
The Town That Dreaded Sundown
Truth or Dare: A Critical Madness
many many more
I can't find this at imdb?
do a yahoo search... its insane! One of my favorite bootlegs ever!
House of Death
Stagefright (not the Italian one)
Murder by Phone
A Night to Dismember
The Icebox Murders
Don't Open the Door
Scream Bloody Murder
Trauma (not Argento's)
Home Sweet Home
Edge of the Axe
Oh jesus, just noticed you asked for '80 slashers. Like 3 of my choices are from the '70s...
There's also THE LAST SLUMBER PARTY. Not related to the Slumber Party Massacre. This is really obscure, and a cheese factor through the roof.
I love this one, it sucks so much. They have that one loop of the blonde girl running up and down the stairs they keep using. Also, they have the worse throat slashes in this one. They are falling over from what looks like a minor scratch.
A few others:
New Year's Evil
`Dont Open Till Xmas` now thats one weird, and hard to find Slasher/Horror movie
What about The Resurrection of Michael Myers? Did anyone ever see this short? Or Part 2?
To All a Goodnight
Girls Nite Out
Class Reunion Massacre (aka: The Redeemer)
Yes, and it has quite a lot of shots of boobies if I remember correctly. Not a very good slasher otherwise, though.
Anyone seen Screamtime (british, i think 1983). Another one of those horror trilogies..the second story still scares the crap out of me to this day. The other two stories are so-so, but the middle one is a must-see.
Wonder if a dvd of this sucker will ever surface.
Some more unknown or obscure '80s slashers...
DEATH BY DIALOGUE
HOLLYWOOD'S NEW BLOOD
RETURN OF THE FAMILY MAN
TERROR AT TENKILLER
HORROR HOUSE ON HIGHWAY 5
BLOODBATH IN PSYCHO TOWN
VIDEO VIOLENCE... WHEN RENTING IS NOT ENOUGH!
VIDEO VIOLENCE PART 2... THE EXPLOITATION!
LAS VEGAS BLOODBATH
LAS VEGAS SERIAL KILLER
A few more...
BITS AND PIECES
Muwahahahahahaha, you'll want to kill me if you rent that one!
I have always had a soft spot for Open House, as I work in Real Estate. It was fun to see agents get butchered. I was also amused by the use of the term Realtor in the film, as Realtor is trademarked by the National Association Of Realtors, which I have always felt to be absurd.
Jeff Lieberman's JUST BEFORE DAWN, a minor classic awaiting rediscovery on DVD.
