Anyone remember this '89 zombie flick starring Scott (Critters) Grimes and John Astin? It had a nice mixture of comedy and horror. The effects from Craig Reardon and Ed French were gruesome. (Love those embalming scenes!)
Plot: Teen Bullies die in a head-on collision with a chemical truck. (Chemicals and dead bodies don't mix!) They come back to life for some murderous fun. Poor Grimes has to deal with 'em. I would love to see a DVD release...

This has always reminded me of the zombie alternative to Fright Night. Fun and light-hearted. I love the whole bit where the kids hide the corpse in the funeral parlor and the mayhem that ensues when Grimes finds it. Yeah, a DVD would be nice. Seems like a title Anchor Bay would pick up.

Didn't they had to cut some of the effects to get a "R" rating? I remember reading about that in Fangoria or Gorezone back then ...
Either way, a DVD release would be nice indeed. I think Columbia TriStar still hold the rights.

NIGHTLIFE is alot of fun, I'm still looking for a used VHS of this film.

The cast is good, the film even has Anthony Geary(Luke Spencer from "General Hospital") in it!!
