This was gone again as of last night. I saw it when I first looked in the morning, but didn't grab anything. Let us know if you actually get something and what it is.

Yeah looks like it's gone again.
Mine shipped out today so I'm assuming I'll be seeing it in the next couple of days.

Got the dvd today and it's the original Anchor Bay release. Also, it does include the insert.

Watched it a few nights ago and thought it kind of blew. I'm really surprised that it's as popular as it is, but whatever. A lot of you guys appear to be new to the board so I'm curious as to your ages. I wonder if it's a generational thing?

30 is still young given the age of the film. Night of the Demons is just so utterly dated (as much as I hate that term) in so many bad ways I just have to wonder if a lot of the love has to do with a nostalgia for a time that they didn't really experience first hand or were too young to remember. Although I'm not all that much older than you, blackandblu, I was at least in high school by the time it came out on video. I'm sure it has fans my age or older (baggio I know is older than me by a year or so) but the movie pretty much encapsulates everything I hated at the time growing up in the late 80s. Some similar movies of that period like Rock 'N Roll Nightmare I can forgive because it had spirit, but this... I dunno, not so much.

I didn't like the film upon first viewing either. Had issues with the off-paced first act and Dennis Michael Tenney's (unintentionally?) goofy score. It wasn't until my second or third viewing that I began to truly LOVE the film. Now, it's a favorite of mine. 80's B-horror flicks down come any funner than this! :)

I'm 35, and I've loved the film ever since seeing it for the first time in the late 80's.

I wasn't too impressed buy the film when I saw it about 5 years ago. It just wasn't what I thought it would be. Still, seeing as the thing is becoming hard to find now I bought a copy on Amazon which was shipped a few days ago. It has some good bits in it so it's not all bad. I'm curious to see if I like it any better this time round.

Now that's what I'm talking about. AND it's back up on Amazon. Just picked myself up a copy :D

I'm 37 and have always liked this flick. For late 80's horror it ranks pretty high in my book.

Similar thing happened with Humanoids from the Deep last year. Someone stumbled across a box for the re-releases and sold 'em on eBay for $10 a pop.

Like I posted in the other thread, I don't think this movie is that great either, definitely overrated. I personally thought the bookends of the film were better then the rest of the film, and I also enjoyed part 2 a lot more. It isn't terrible, just not that good either though.

I love Night Of The Demons, have since I first saw it on VHS over 20 years ago, and I just turned 41 in February. I bought the DVD the day is originally came out on DVD, because my VHS copy was getting old.
