Crediting Living Dead Media as "Romero's Team," is probably extremely misleading. The full statement issued by Living Dead Media gives me a strong impression that this is, primarily, a John A. Russo project: https://www.nightofthelivingdead.com/blogs/blog/night-of-the-living-dead-sequel-coming Top billing: John A. Russo and Return of the Living Dead
Some may hate on me for this but I'm fine about the idea. I personally don't like any of Romero's "Dead" films after Day. If this sucks, then who cares. I still have the classic trilogy. If it's good, then I'll buy it as well.
Before we all get our collective panties in a bunch, let us not forget about this little turd that came out a decade or so ago. It's just a name.........who fucking cares?
Well. not part II but.... https://bloody-disgusting.com/movie...M7P3pi2gJE3NtEMu-r9yRYUt-Yw0GOqEIe7OdmgsYgSf0
Sad commentary on the state of affairs that they're slipping "Walking Dead" into their plot description. Vivica A. Fox gives me some hope but not much. She ain't cheap so they're putting up some money. And putting her in Ben's role is a nice character change for the script. Lots of people focus on fixing Barbara but to switch out the other male roles with women is a better way to go about it I think. Barbara is Barbara and could even be done with a male if you wanted to. But I'm not anticipating anything revolutionary here.
