http://www.clivebarkercast.com/2017...e-released-on-blu-ray-exclusive-announcement/ I'm seeing rumors that seem to be coming out of the Occupy Midian Facebook Group that this may be as limited as 200 copies and/or as expensive as $200.00. It doesn't sound like those numbers are final, though.
I've never seen this cut of the film admittedly, but after watching the director's cut on blu-ray this movie just doesn't hold up well to me. I was honestly quite bored with it and I recall enjoying it when I saw it theatrically.
No kidding? I was under the impression this was going to be a wide release and priced under $20. I'll easily skip on this if that's not the case as I'm happy with what Scream released and expect the UK will surely have to do something with Nightbreed in the near future.
I haven't even opened my Scream set, so I can easily pass on this. However, if it does surface again somewhere for $20, I'd like to see this cut.
I got to see the Cabal cut at a screening here in Australia which was really cool so I'd be up for getting this cut if it is cheap.
Wow, that's gonna sell out like hotcakes whenever it goes live. $250 though? That's steep, I'd have to sell my original Nightbreed script that I won in that contest on here years ago! The $75 version sounds iffy...
Way too expensive for me. Happy with my deluxe dc set. Got to see the Cabal cut at a screening and while I enjoyed it I think I prefer the director's cut for quality alone. There's maybe two bits from the Cabal cut I wish had made it to the dc.
And $75 for 50 standard copies. That version will sell out first, probably within minutes. I have the Scream! set and that will hold me over until this inevitable re-release.
Well surely the UK has to get it soon. I'm actually quite shocked its been this long with nothing on that end considering Scream Factory's disc is locked.
I mean, the theatrical cut has a completely different vibe and , despite not being Barker's preferred version, might speak to some viewer's sensibilities more than the DC. It's a shame the TC blu-ray was only available in the limited set.
The $250 version is available for purchase folks. The $75 version is sold out. https://www.realclivebarker.com/product/nightbreed-the-cabal-cut/
