I received mine several days ago from dvduniverse. My number is 5956. The Red Queen looks like she might have a crack in one of her boots. It almost looks like it could be a very thin line of black paint. Anyway I'm not taking her out of the plastic.
Holy crap! I just got mine today from DDD. It's number 0001 - 7000. Normally, I don't care about limited edition numbers. But I can't bring myself to open the #1 box. Now I gotta buy another copy. Damn you DDD! You had to send me #1! You rotten bastards!
I'm not a huge collector either, but I wouldn't have the heart to open #1 either. That's sweet. I always assumed the first few like that went to the owners of the company or whatever, so it's cool to see that NoShame shipped it out with all the rest like that.
My copy of EVELYN pixilates from about the 45 minute mark throughout the rest of the film! It completely stops. DAMN. Anyone else have problems?
Well, after the #1 debacle, my second copy arrived today. It's #4955-7000 and DDD was even nice enough kick a dent in the side of the box. No worries about "collecting" this one. Woo Hoo! Now I can finally watch the movies!
Please help me! I also got the box, but I am not able to open it. I mean, the package could take damage over the time if it's not wrapped up. :nervous: How did you manage to open it or don't you know such freeky problems, or what do you do to prevent damages on the package?
I usually buy two of every major collectible: one gets opened, one stays sealed. In the case of this set, I got numbers 5189 and 0003.
Was there a manufacturing problem with some of the releases!? i love these movies and hate for mine to not work anymore.
Ohh that sucks. Usually smaller companies are pretty good with sending out replacement discs. I know Anchor Bay doesn't ask twice, they'll send you anything pretty quickly. Awesome customer service!
I had a Dawn Ultimate set with scratched discs. I sent the discs in and they sent me a brand new set.
