San Francisco - down by them two ol' sheds
October 4th: My viewing - Blood of Fu Manchu, Hercules and the Haunted World and 28 Days Later.

This year I have vowed to watch every DVD I have bought and that has been sitting on my shelves unwatched...until now.
Your viewing may/may not contain the same idea. Simply list your nightly horror viewing leading up to Halloween! Old and new! :D

First I'd spark a fat blunt and start off with some "Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" then i'd move onto "Rocky Horror Picture Show", "Hocus Pocus", "Cabin Fever" (for the humor), "13 Ghosts", and "Addams Family Values" at least 50 times, maybe some "Beetlegeuse", "May", or whatever else I have available or someone could be nice enough 2 rent.

It would be very hard for a horror dvd fan not to watch a horror movie in the month of October for the simple reason that studios release so many horror dvds in October to cash in on Halloween.

I've have Herzog's Nosferatu sitting here from Netflix for almost a month and STILL haven't watched it, and will try and make an effort to do so tomorrow because of this thread.

Otherwise, I think the only thing that could count is all that horrible porn I've been watching.

I might not get to watch it tonight because I have a ton of homework to do, but I plan on watching Beyond the Darkness again next time I get a chance. And since I'm not totally out of that George Romero mood, I might pop in The Crazies and possibly Martin. After that, I might watch a couple of the Ilsa movies (or maybe all three!). ;)

And on Halloween night, the regulars:

    Dawn of the Dead

Hellraiser 3 from the Lament Configuration Box Set

Started watching Buffy TVS season one again last night. Watched Re-Animator Sunday. I also got Thriller: A Cruel Picture in the mail, so I'll have that to check out. Between now and Halloween I'll more than likely be watching The Nightmare Before Christmas, Halloween, Donnie Darko, Friday The 13th, hopefully the new Hellraiser set if I get it by then, Rocky Horror and more...

Dude ..... I'm speechless. How can you not watch horror movies in october ??? The cold brisk air, the tree's bare like skeletons, and the days getting short and the nights getting longer. It's the perfect forumla for excellent horror viewing. October's my favorite time of year. Pass the crack the other way please :).

Oh, I almost forgot the topic. I dunno what I'll be watching .... I'll probably spin a horror movie every night until a week from Halloween. Then I'll probably watch two a night.

Some that are no brainers are:

    Dawn 2004
    TCM 2004
    ROTLD (parts 1-3 of course)
    Halloween (parts 1-6)
    Freddy vs Jason
    Garfields Halloween (Coming October 28th)
    Ginger Snaps
    Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin
Dora's Halloween (my daughter loves Dora)
    Friday the 13th (Part1)
    Nightmare Before Christmas
    Sleepy Hollow
    Frankenstein (the original)
    Black Sunday
    Countess Dracula/Vampire Lovers
    The Raven (Vincent Price)
The Haunting (probably both remake and original)

October is my favorite time of year as well. I love when the leaves turn yellow and red and the Fall chill comes around. It brings back so many good memories.

None the less, here's a few that I plan to be watching this month.

    - Halloween (duh)
    - Night of the Living Dead
    - Dawn of the Dead
    - Several of the Friday the 13th Films
    - Suspiria
    - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (OG of course)
