Decoys (2003) Cold loving alien babes from outer space invade an College in Canada ... to have deadly sex with male students and to steal their DNA.
Silly sci-fi comedy with decent CGI effects and lots of jump scares. A little less goofiness and Decoys would have gotten three stars from me.

She-Creature (2001) Creepy tale about a sexy mermaid who can read minds and has an insatiable appetite for human flesh ...
Surprisingly well made Creature Feature flick that hardly looks like it was made for cable. Definitely worth checking out.

The Hazing (2004) from the director who gave us the excellent There's Nothing Out There! Solid campus horror-comedy that actually is funny! Cool flick, lots of references to other movies and a Bruce Campbell cameo ;) Perfect for Halloween viewing (thanks to onebyone for recommending this movie).

The first episodes of Hammer's House of Horror, Highwaymen, Bride of Re-Animator, St. John's Wort, the bonus disc in the Friday the 13th-box, Contamination, The Revenge of Frankenstein, One Missed Call, The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms, Das Experiment, Chopping Mall. Good stuff indeed.

  6. Didn't find the time to watch the original Halloween around these days 2004... watched Jeepers Creepers for the 1st time & liked it. Was a déjà vu experience in a way (not that I had been through sth. similar in "real life", but I ate some folks in a movie once)

I wish you and your families a happy and spooky Halloween!

    Love and lots of treats,
    Tony Caulfield

Just done watching Them! and woooo it was fun. Very educational monster flick, with good f/x. A vintage classic :)
The DVD has excellent transfer. I wish some newer movies would look as good as this one. Good job Warners.

    Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

... you must see it with your own eyes to believe it, when THE FLY comes your way!

He sure came a long way :D

Just done watching The Fly (1958) and Return Of The Fly (1959). Great fun. After mutated ants and mutated flies I'm ready for killer kids from outer space: Village / Children Of The Damned are next on my Halloween viewing list.

I haven't been watching much horror lately but my little Halloween Marathon started Thursday, Oct 28th with Pet Sematary.

Friday, Oct 29th I watched The Howling.

Saturday, Oct 30th my girlfriend and I watched Halloween 2 and Thriller - A Cruel Picture. I didn't like Thriller too much, strangely enough my girlfriend dug it and laughed through the hardcore bits.

I don't know about Halloween night, I kinda have an urge to see Return of the Living Dead (for the umpteenth time.) I doubt I'll have time to fit in a 2nd feature.

Last night watched an excellent documentary on the Star! network entitled The Curse Of The Exorcist, hope this will be included in the eventual Exorcist prequel special edition.
    Tonight, I will be watching:
    It's Alive
    It Lives Again
    Island Of The Alive
and quite possibly Dawn Of The Dead 04 (again!!).

    Just watched:

    The
    Wicker - The Theatrical Version.
    Man

Alien Ressurection, the Extended Version. I'm a fan of this film and like it more than Alien 3. But that's just me.

The Beyond. This is just simply one of my favorite all-out horror movies. Good shit!

Great titles - all! Yes, I love Alien Resurrection, too. I think the score is terrific - love Ripley's theme.
