    I'm back to Cinema Wasteland next weekend, and then Shock Stock in London, ON the weekend after. Anyone else attending either?

    I'll be at Cinema Wasteland. I rarely miss a show. Pretty damn good line up this time around.

    I went to Midsummer Scream in Long Beach yesterday at the prodding of my 8 year old. A few observations:

    1) Shocking amount of people. Is this what the convention scene is now!?
    2) the vendors were OK, good actually. Friendly.
    3) Best part of the day was my son meeting his favorite youtuber. Let that soak in.

    Guy gave us a ticket on the way in and kids under 10 were free. The best was a huge separate room with animatronic creatures and multiple “experiences”. All in the dark. He LOVED it. Was asking when the next one was already. Never had a turnout like this in the old days.

    Oy. We ended up in his YouTube video. At least my kid was thrilled.
