I'm in for Secret Admirer also. Most likely if not definitely will be getting Class & Beat Street too.

I'm guessing that Mankillers will actually be the next Slasher//Video release.

Head's up: Off of a Tim Lucas glowing recommendation I bought The Horrible Dr. Hitchcock on Blu. Franco/Bava/Naschy aside I am not a fan of Gothic horrors as I find them stiff, hokey and passionless 90% of the time. And early 60s euro gothic horrors? Dull.

But this one was good. Very good I would say. Re-watch value good. It's technicolor, shot exquisitely well and though the plot is not unfamiliar to those who have seen 60s Italian horrors it is paced well and did keep me guessing until the end. The score is surprisingly effective and filled with tension (rather than endless droning organs) and the acting is superb. I'm putting this in the "pleasantly surprised" category.

At any rate if you were dismissing this one, I'd say it is worth a look. Miles better than some of the dreck I've been watching lately (Microwave Massacre, Evils of the Night).

Well I bought M. Massacre, and had seen it on VHS prior, but it IS dreck. I can appreciate bad movies, what I am saying is that H. Dr, Hitchcock is actually good. Like good filmmaking and acting good.

I know that Microwave Massacre is not a good film but I find it to be very entertaining. I hadn't seen it since I used to rent VHS over two decades ago. Watching the blu-ray was a lot of fun for me, although I can certainly see where many people wouldn't care for it.

Olive announced the Blu of King Solomon Mines for Febuary 21 ,2017

This is great news to me, as I have Olive's earlier release of Allan Quatermain and Lost City of Gold (the sequel)

Don't think this has been mentioned yet, but there's a BOGO sale on Olive titles at DeepDiscount. Blus are $20.99, so $10.49 each.

First night of the sale when I placed my order, prices were $16.80, so I got them at $8.40 each. My first order arrived today.

Sale goes through the 15th. I picked up the 7 seasons of King of the Hill that Olive released and added Larry Cohen's Special Effects to it to maximize the BOGO savings. All together it cost around $95.
