So I guess that takes F13th out of the running. :(

    Umm No.
If I sold a lot of the movies I hate then my wife (who likes them) would be upset and I would rather keep dvds I hate then upset her. Hell ya may or may not be in the same boat but it doesn't really matter what you or I think. They are his dvds to do with what he wants and you calling him a troll or saying he is full of shit for stating his opinion on a movie won't change that.
Now lets move on shall we? Halloween should be dropped but that doesn't mean you can't think of it as a perfect movie in your own little way. :p

As has been said time and time and time again had you chose to listen, this thread has nothing to do with a movie needing to be "perfect". Get beyond the title and read the actual rules, why don't you? :p

Anyways, Hell Ya has been on the board recently and hasn't responded. Could it be that his attitude has changed towards Halloween? Three years is a long time for somebody to be able to change his mind... Maybe he just had a pissy week? Until he responds directly to the thread, the case is still open. Sorry, Betterdan.

Of course you'd have to keep the DVDs because technically speaking they're her DVDs not yours. They may sit on the same shelf as yours do, but that doesn't change anything.

That's possible actually. I didn't like Halloween the first couple of times I saw it and now I love it. One of the best horror flicks ever. We really can't judge by what someone said 3 years ago.

Right! For instance, if you go back far enough I remember despising and insulting Raw Meat left and right, but now I think it's a great movie.

Here we go! I've since recanted my words. Should what Hell Ya said three years ago still count? Not trying to be a prick Betterdan, but it's true. Opinions change all the time.

Well I have nothing against any of those 4 films, but I'm sure there's haters for Poltergeist on this board, and you have to know that Phantasm will never make it. It's too....weird for a lot of people. I have yet to see anyone say The Birds isn't good though.

I believe all the Alien films got nixed a while back.:(

And still haven't heard anything against An American Werewolf in London. Of course noone's said much about it period.

I love Phantasm so I guess it fits within the construct of the poll we are going with now. However, having it labelled a "perfect" horror film in any way shape or form is really pushing it.

Actually they are our dvds. Being in a relationship with my wonderful wife changed everything sir. We share everything and that's the way I like it. :)

 Maybrick, honestly I don't care about if Hell Ya changed his mind or not. All that was said is that he didn't like Halloween. You can create all kinds of what ifs but he still said it.
Seriously though if it means that much to you keep it in by all means. I think Halloween is alright myself, nothing great, but I just thought it was quite bold of you to call the man a troll and full of shit just because he didn't like the movie.
I love the Exorcist and think it is the perfect horror movie of all time but I am not here making excuses to why it should be left in. This thread will change nothing afterall.

Oh and I almost forgot... I still love you! :D
