Agreed.I remember when this movie came on video and there was so much hype about it.It was junk. And as for the audience participatiom,I think I will pass on a theatre full of people in drag.:nervous:

Great film. Haven't seen it in years, maybe I'll check it out again. Have to be in a certain mood though (like Rocky Horror).

Naw, you should go, it's a lot of fun.

Even though you've seen it on video, you should be sure to tell them you've never seen the movie before. You'll win a special prize.

    Hell yes!

I cannot truly express how much I love this movie... and Paff, you're right in your review about the 92 minutes going by fast... it felt more like 12 minutes and I didn't want it to end. :(

Phantom is a great film, though some of it is a bit corny now........I mean all those women fawning over Williams ........actually that was ALWAYS hard to stomach....

Oh.........and Rocky Horror was an awful film.

    Just plain crap.

I saw the stage version which was good, but the film was so poorly thought out and the musical versions of some great songs were crimminal.

Although it's a long time since I've seen Phantom (I guess close to 15 years), I remember really enjoying the experience. As a viewing experience alone, I think it knocks ten bells out of Rocky Horror (which has just never worked for me).

Liked it quite a bit, but wouldn't say it's better than : The Rocky Horror Picture Show or Little Shop of Horrors (1986) either.
