Just a heads up to everyone I just picked up Gojira at Best Buy for 12.99! The normal sticker price is 19.99 but it's on sale so grab it if you can!

I didn't even know this was out in the U.S!

    EDIT

Sorry but should have made it more clear. It is the Blu-Ray I'm talking about.

It's been out for a while now, along with seven of the sequels from the same company, all getting the same excellent treatment.

Not sure if you're talking about the blu-ray release or DVD. The blu-ray is currently available on Amazon for $12.99.

Got the Blu-Ray at BB as well. I've heard luke-warm and some bad reviews of the BD, but I bought it anyway.

He's talking about the big green on big Blu here.

Although a large chunk of the Godzillas, including the original, are being released on Blu-ray in Japan which is the same region as the USA. With more to come in three month cycles. Unfortunately they're all dub free and lacking details much like our Gojira release seems to be.

I also picked this baby up on Amazon for $12.99, before I read reviews. I might have held off, but somehow doubt Toho will do much about it. The master is out of Classic Cinema's hand.

You bought a fifty four foot Godzilla for $12.99? Good deal, but where do you keep it?

Love that disc, they did a great job and the original Japanese version is a million times better than the American.

I wanted to get this, but the quality is absolute shit. 1080i and lacking the US cut and some extra features. As badly as I want this, and I want it BAD, I refuse to buy an inferior product.

Sounds like I'll avoid this and just stick with my DVD.
