If anyone can help me, it's going to be someone here. I've been on a bit of a zombie kick lately and thought of a movie I saw many years ago. I cannot remember very much about it except that I THINK it may have been a European zombie flick and I remember the beginning and ending are the same. Almost as if the whole thing was a dream and then it ends with the whole thing coming true? Maybe?

All I remember about the bookends are a helicopter flying over either an amusement park or a playground and I think there's a girl and a guy down there waving for the helicopter to come down and save them.

Can someone help? And is this movie worth seeing again? I'm guessing not as I don't remember anything else about it, but if so, I would check it out.

    Thanks!

You my friend are thinking of Nightmare City. Its an Italian horror flick directed by Umberto Lenzi. Its on dvd from Anchor Bay and Blue Underground. Also in IMO I really liked it. Most people dont though. Its cheesy as hell and has some horrible acting. The aerobics scenes crack me up every time.

No problem,I suppose if you have a question about a horror movie. This would be the best place to ask.

    The Nightmare Becomes Reality.

Definitely a fun flick, I've always had a soft spot for NIGHTMARE CITY. It was the first Euro horror movie I had ever watched growing up (under the title CITY OF THE WALKING DEAD) and even still I don't think I could ever forget that ending.

Here's my review from seven(!) years ago:

Yeah. The birthday last week didn't help, either. :D

Hey, it could be worse...I could be Deathbed Dave. I've lost count, I think he's around 57 or so now.

Thanks for the link to the review, Rhett! I just caved in and picked it up as today is the last day of the Deep Discount sale. I figure even if I hate it, for $5.08 I can't complain.

It's definitely a zombie flick but Umberto Lenzi says they aren't zombies, haha.
