I have the New Concorde DVD of The Slumber Party Massacre III and I notice that it says Rated R on the back of it. However, I do remember that the old VHS of the Movie from New Horizons was release in both a R Rated and an Unrated Version as well. Does anyone know for sure if the DVD is the cut Version or is it a case of the Rating on the back of the DVD being wrong?

The DVD actually contains even more footage than the Unrated VHS. I wrote a review for this disc back when it first came out for DVDangle.com...this was about ten years ago now, so I don't remember the specifics but I do remember comparing the two and found the gore content to be identical, and the DVD having extra dialogue scenes.

    I'm pretty certain it's uncut.

I'd have to dig my DVD out, but I seem to recall it including a note inside the case stating that the rating on the back cover was incorrect.

That is Great news to hear! Thanks Everyone! Yeah there are some great cases of the Running Time on the back of the Video Cover being wrong, look at the Key Video of Dario Argento's Inferno and it's the Uncut Version!!

I'm watching Scream Factories bluray of SPM3 and wanted to know if the unrated version has extra gore/nudity or if it's just dialogue? Just viewing the R rated cut at the moment.

It's mostly all just extra dialogue scenes, perhaps a few frames of extra gore. I don't believe it really has any added nudity. Even though it's longer, there really isn't too much difference overall to the tone or plot of the film. The added stuff is really just "padding"

Thanks for the conformation Kat. I suspected that but couldn't find any clear info online. The R rated print looked really good, I was impressed.
