    Dave,
    I think Mpeg 1 is cool, because I download a lot of trailers on the net. If they are in MPEG 1 format, it is easier to convert to VCD, if not it has to be recompressed. I use a program called TMPGenc and reformat it for VCD, or if it is in Quicktime or DIVX, I recompress it, then when I have enough, I put them on a VCD, playable in my DVD player.

    BTW: If anyone is interested in this program, it is freeware available on www.vcdhelp.com There is a link, as well as tuturials.

    I do the same thing Dave, and file size is no problem for me, so if possible MPEG is the way to go!

    MPEG is also compatible with more players, since no extra plug-ins is needed.
