Yvonne Monlaur Born Yvonne-Thérèse-Marie-Camille Bédat de Monlaur, she was best known for her performances in the Hammer Film Productions horror films "The Brides of Dracula" (1960) and "The Terror of the Tongs" (1961). She got first acting role in the 1955 film "Thirteen at the Table". Besides the two Hammer horror films, her film credits included "Three Strangers in Rome" (1958), "Circus of Horrors" (1960), "Inn for Trouble" (1960), "Time to Remember" (1962), and "Le concerto de la peur" (1963). She also appeared in several television series during her career such as "The Third Man", "Tales of the Vikings", "The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre", and "Agence Interim". She screentested for the role of Domino Derval in the 1965 James Bond film "Thunderball", but it went to fellow French actress Claudine Auger. She retired from acting in the late 1960s and settled in Paris, France. In her later years, she attended several film conventions which included salutes to Hammer horror films.
