I approve. I like the storyline changes.
Yeah, it actually looks better than I thought it would. Still don't like the fact it's PG13 (unless that gets changed by next year but I doubt it).
So what's Peter Weller doing these days?
PG-13??? Oh great! :fire:
It looks like another over-produced, CGI-infested fuckfest...shame too because it has a nice cast.
I'm gonna check it out for Keaton though, if that fucker can make Jack Frost watchable I'm sure RoboBatman is a cake walk...if he wasn't in it I doubt I'd give two shits.
Man, I don't know about this.....
directing TV shows.
It looks too serious...it needs some over the top satire. I mean, that was the essence of the original, satire and violence...this trailer is void of both.
Chalk full of CGI though...great graphics department they scored.
The trailer for the original film wasn't much different..
Appearing in Star Trek and teaching at Syracuse.
I think this looks pretty good, I'll see it. Oldman and Keaton being listed in the cast certainly doesn't hurt.
Perhaps you need these?
If you see an ounce of satire in that trailer then yeah, you certainly have better vision than I do.
Maybe no satire, but plenty of insinuated violence and zero CGI.
Nothing like the remake trailer. GTFO.
yeah, Keaton and Oldman, for me. But mostly Keaton.
however, it wouldn't be a proper "remake discussion thread" if I didn't start to nitpick and whine and bitch, so..........I don't like the black suit. I don't like the red visor-strip. He looks like a G.I. Joe. I'm also unreasonably upset that they didn't use the "Part man. Part machine. All cop." tagline. That shit was gold.
I hate that he still has a human hand.
ehhhh... I'm really on the fence with this one. Glad to see they're keeping the social commentary in but this looks way too sterile for a Robocop film.
That might not be fair, Verhoeven has proven to have a better hand with thoughtful material. (As I say that, there really is a serious class of Showgirls defenders. Having not seen the film yet, I'll give them the doubt benefit.)
Not just any director can do this, otherwise Dawn of the Dead '04 would have been brilliant instead of hollow and pointless.
Looks bad also
Looks like generic crap. Total Recall remake 2.0.
