Anybody read this magazine? I decided to buy their newest issue and I loved it. They had a great article on Undead and other zombie films of 2003.

they also had a very interesting review of the TCM remake, where they cited how the way we feel about the TCM remake is how most fans of the original Thing had felt when the remake was released in 82. I hadn't thought about that until then.

Anywho, I think I'm going to get a subscription with them, as their magazine is far more interesting and about a buck cheaper than Fangoria.

I've been collecting every issue for the past few years. It's the best genre magazine out there. Do a search for it, you will find quite a few threads on it.

Definitely my favourite horror based zine. I grab it up every month as well.

Well, they still made good movies back then.

After Dark Side, Rue Morgue is one of my favorite genre magazines.

I usually glance through Rue Morgue in the bookstore, if it's a really good issue I'll buy it....at least it's cheaper than Fangoria. The Halloween anniversary issue was especially good, definitely bought that one.

Hehe, I guess I could explain my reason behind a seperate thread. It was because of the TCM thing. I figured I could comment on how great Rue Morgue is while get some discussion on that little theory they had.

Rue Morgue rocks! They've sent me 2 free bumper stickers so far and maybe 3 back issue magazines with cool topics. I have a subscription, which is why I get da perks. ;)

before I dump them at Goodwill - anyone have any holes in their collection (assuming anyone collects them)?

    I have a bunch from 2003-2007.

Does Goodwill even handle magazines? Wouldn't they just throw them away? I'm pretty sure they don't take National Geographics for example.

I'd just bring them to a comic book store even if it's just for a few bucks. You know they'll go somewhere.

Honestly I just need them to go. I've been cleaning out our place systematically over this year and am tired of seeing the box sitting here.

You could probably sell them as bulk lots on Ebay and get a little money.
