An excellent film. I hope that there will be an R1 release of this soon.

Finally, my favorite movie on DVD uncut! Now if only AB UK would release El Topo and The Holy Mountain uncut and with no optical censoring!

  7. I love this movie, but do not really care much for the cover.

I totally agree with you Rainbowthief. I would love to see Anchor Bay UK release El Topo and The Holy Mountain. That would make for three uncut DVD's that I would love to add to my collection.

I can't wait to get this SANTA SANGRE disc! It about time it got a proper release, and it is so mine! Also, chalk me up as another person who'd kill to have EL TOPO and THE HOLY MOUNTAIN on DVD. Both equally great films, and I'm dying to own them. Jodorowsky rules!

Jodorowsky does rule. This disc looks like the shit, although the cover looks like Anchor Gay is having a Media Blasters moment...

If Holy Mountain got a proper release I'd be the happiest man in the world. Thankfully, Fando & Lis has gone down in price, I've actually seen it around town at around $23

FANDO & LIS is a great disc, pick it up. I'm still waiting for these to hit Region 1, which I'm sure will happen eventually. Also I think that cover is based off of the original UK video art, so it's not a total disgrace.

This disc will be mine, dammit. Even with goofy cover art.

The cover art kinda reminds me of "The Evil Dead trilogy box" cover...

Well some people like me don't have multi region players and really don't care for one. I want a player with excellent picture quality above anything else. The multi region players I have seen just don't have that quality. Don't settle for inferior picture quality. Come on it's not 1999 picture quality has improved immensely. ;)

Since you don't own a quality region free player, how can you comment? Seems like a moronic argument by you. I'd put my region free JVC against any player out there as far as picture quality and overall performance is concerned.

Seems as though I forgot the smilie which makes any insane comment perfectly sane like others have done in this thread.

    Calm down Jason sheesh.
Read what I said..."The multi region players I have seen just don't have that quality."
Seems pretty moronic that you would get so upset over something I prefer which is picture quality. I wasn't bashing anyone. Chris said he didn't understand why people cared about regions when they could get a multi region player. I explained why I didn't have or want one.

Oh since you forgot the smilie here is one for you
