http://www.mdpworldwide.com/mdp/movies.asp?movieID=17 Now this one does sound interesting , have to watch this one when it comes out .
I'm actually hoping it goes right to video and has some great gore and other good stuff. I dont think it will fare well in theaters at all really..
replay on the 29th at 7:00pm eastern for anyone who missed todays showing(like I did) one thing I did notice with my tivo is todays showing has a 2hr. 30min. runtime while this Sat. has a 2hr. runtime. extra padding for commercials?
will someone who watched this give a few word review about it afterwards? my tivos are so full of stuff if this movie blows that can save me a few hours of space. thanks.
I have had it on kinda watching it and all i can say still is damn! This movie is a trainwreck. I mean the ending with the grandpa... LOL. It had it's moments I will admit. A few funny parts but the majority of the time I was wondering to myself if I was really seeing what was before my eyes. I guess you could kinda say it's like... it's like if Silent Night Deadly Night and WCW in it's dying days had a bastard child. Hope that helps. As far as running time, I think it has to do with the fact they are showing it durin Casino Cinema and showinf clips of Saw 2. As a matter of fact, I shot my load too quickly. It's still on lol. Kinda reminds me of a really bad Futurama episode lol.
isnt wwe wrestler kane supposed to be in a horror flick also??? but this flick might be pretty bad with goldberg after seeing him in universal soldier the return
The storyline is bottom of the barrell fodder, the ending is absurd, even in the edited form it looked like gore would be minimal if left intact, alot more comedy than i wanted in a killer santa flick. the two main characters in this have very limited acting skills and even make Goldberg look good in comparison. The costume looked like it came off a doll in Country Sampler magazine instead of the traditional santa. It was supposed to be chock full of nudity but I didn't see any unless the whole scene was deleted.
I tuned in to about 10 minutes of this and that was about all I needed to see. Horrendous sums it up nicely. Although I should have known seeing as how it not only stars Goldberg, but it premiered on Spike TV. Ouch.
Hopefully it'll come on Spike over here in the US, as I haven't seen it listed over here yet. I could use a good laugh and I'll make fun of it MST 3000 style as well!
I'm watching it right now. It's pretty ridiculous but I don't think it's terrible. Well, wait, yes it is, haha... Anyway, I'm able to stomach it. Some of the scenes are cool, like when he meets the singing bunch at Grandpa's House. I think it would've been served a LOT better if Goldberg had been a "mute" Santa. All of his mannerisms are okay, but when he opens his mouth, it's eye rolling time. DeepDiscountDVD is selling this for $20. No way.
Oh my! Nope, I certainly cannot resist evil Santa movies... unfortunately, it is not on Netflix yet!
I'll probably rent it since I'm a sucker for a good Christmas horror flick. But, Lions Gate's low-budget DVD releases lately have been the very bottom of the barrel.
