It appears to be a 4:3 fullscreen version. And this is a movie that would definitely suffer from cropping.

That's awful. Looks like I'll be sticking with the old Anchor Bay disc.

I've always been curious about these Elvira releases, and if any of them are actually the best way to watch some of the titles, since some of the movies in these sets are public domain and have only had subpar releases. Is the video and audio quality decent? Does she just do an intro and outro on the disc or just she talk throughout it and/ or interrupt it like a commercial break?

Some bad news: These discs don't have the movie-only option the old Shout! Factory Elvira discs had. Disappointing, but not too bad considering these are PD movies that everyone's seen, and they are available in a multitude of budget sets. What's worse is the movies are edited for TV! Scenes are trimmed for time (NOTLD) and gore / nudity is blurred in Satanic Rites of Dracula!

They also mention the audio synch problem w/ I Eat Your Skin.

Supposedly the audio issue has been fixed, though I am still waiting for my fixed disc to arrive...

It is disappointing that you cannot watch the movie without Elvira's segments and pop up commentary, but since they are PD films, I have copies of them on other releases.

So Anchor Bay isn't doing anything with their Hammers? If this is the case can no one make a deal to get these off their hands into our hands as blu-rays?
