Yea and even scarier was the sequal 4 years later- Dick should have gotten some award for his scary, grumpy old man supporting actor role- he really captured that "screw the world" attitude

Haven't seen all of these, but I guess it's a tie between Ringu, BWP and Signs. Also not in the poll the 'under the blanket' scene from Ju-On (and few others from that movie), and the woman crawling and hanging over bed from A Tale of Two Sisters. Asian ghost-women always get me...

Glad to see Blair Witch get some much deserved props- Ill have to watch Session 9 again someday- I borrowed it from someone at work several years ago who thought I would enjoy it and it just didnt do much for me and I remember not caring for the ending either. Great creepy location though.

Though this is not a very conventional choice, I'd have to say one particular scene in the August Underground "Mordum" gave me the absolute worst feeling like nothing I've felt since I was a kid.

There's a scene where the killers (for lack of a better term) meet up with another killer they know, who has the most vile "cabin" of sorts; what they find in his garbage can finally just did me in. It really hit me that it's totally possible people like this exist...and that a room like that actually exists...scary shit!

Just thinking about it creeps me the fuck out, though otherwise those movies are really bad - not high art in the slightest, or scary.

Great list, but I had to go with the final scene from REC, I was pretty freaked out from that movie, and that was just watching it on a crappy computer screen, I cant wait to be able to buy it and watch it over on DVD. BWP project would have been second, and Audition third. I'm gonna have to track down this Session 9 flick.

That's what "Other" is for, and then you list your favourite.

The scariest scene to me is from Blacula when Elisha Cook was instructed to defrost the cab driver's body and lock the door!Well he didn't and when that cabbie came running down that creepy ass morgue hall fangs out in slow mo catching Cook off guard i had nightmares for weeks and it is still effective today.Female vampires have always gotton more respect from me than there male counterparts because i think that men are more vulnerable to them because they are women especially if they are beautiful its easier to get close, and they just plain out look scarier with fangs.

Wow, dude. Between this and Ghostkeeper's post, you'd swear they were asked to do advanced calculus.
