Recommending this one is a bit of a spoiler as the fact that it kinda turns into a slasher in the third act is supposed to be a surprise that I wouldn't want to spoil for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Spoiler Sunshine
Never honestly considered Alien a sci-fi horror slasher. Same story with Forbidden World and Galaxy of Terror. They were just too much sci-fi then horror slasher. Evils Of The Night don't think I have seen that might have to track it down! Thanks!
Detention (2011) Strange Behavior (1981) The Wraith (1986) Horror High (1974) Scared to Death (1980) Ghost in the Machine (1993) The Dark (1979)
Not having much luck tracking down Scared To Death. I found these 2 listings but they want $50 a ouch! Might be time to dust of the old VCR and find a cheap VHS tape of this film. http://www.amazon.com/Scared-Death-...id=1385246210&sr=1-3&keywords=scared+to+death http://www.amazon.com/Scared-Death-...id=1385246212&sr=1-7&keywords=scared+to+death
If anything, would avoid the Jef Films DVD (bootleg). Didn't know the RetroMedia DVD was already OOP. I bought the Retro disc when first released. Though they claimed the transfer was struck from a new master it still looks rough, washed out and grainy as hell, but at least its 16:9. Guilty pleasure for sure and worth checking out but those Amazon prices are insane!
"Hardware" might also count. I haven't seen "Galaxy of Terror" or "Forbidden World" yet, but my understand is that they are basically alien slasher films.
Future-Kill a guilty pleasure from my childhood. And Evils of the Night and The Being are bad movie gold!
The one and only Chuck Norris slasher movie, Silent Rage: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084684/?ref_=nv_sr_1 It's not particularly good...
