Figure I put it in this thread. Ronin Flix store (which sells Scorpion) they changed their shipping policy.

Now only free shipping for orders over $30... starting February 1st, 2020

Average Price of shipping for single Blu-ray will be $3.50 USPS first-class (dependent on location)

P.S. - Should be fun when you want to pick up that single title for $29.99. o_O

Maybe Ronin was purchased by Code Red. Ha.

All you have to do is buy 2 discs - no shipping. I always buy a minimum of 2 discs anyway so I'm immune to these shipping charges.

Didn't realize that. Curious, what's the cost for say just one or two Blu's shipped to you?

Yeah, same for us Canadians. Always gotta tack on shipping from pretty much any place other than Amazon. Shipping to Canada for instance is $11.08 USD for 1 Blu-ray via Ronin Flix. Want 2 Blu-rays and it goes up to $18.28 USD... Than you also have to deal with the exchange rate, which bumps the full total up about 30%. And this is standard from basically any boutique label based in the US or places like Diabolik, Barnes & Noble, etc.

Whoa. That's pretty steep. Basically like paying for another Blu.

International pricing tiers are based, in part, on country price groups. One disc in a standard plastic case with no physical extras, can probably get it at the 1-8 ounce rates, safely. Two discs pushes it right to the upper limit and probably into the 9-32 ounce range. Keep in mind, an empty bubble mailer, alone, weighs about an ounce and USPS always rounds up, not to the nearest whole number. If their scale says 8 ounces and a hair, the package will be charged at the 9 - 32 ounce rate.

There really aren't any cheaper alternatives to USPS, either.

It was announced for a late 2019 release, but I don't think there's been any further news on it. Hopefully it's just running late on its release due to Walt's medical issues.

What are Walt's medical issues? I know his brother Bill has been in and out of the hospital a lot in recent years but hadn't heard anything about Walt.

I can't recall exactly, but serious and ongoing. He posted himself about it on the Blu-ray.com forum and possibly Facebook, so those are probably still in the Scorpion thread on there.

I just read that. Um, he let a Orthopedic Surgeon with less than 5 years under his belt operate on his back. And now he can't walk. Lord have mercy. Pray for him.

Just received Raw Courage in the mail today. Excited to see this one again, I only saw it once probably back in the '90s.

I've also got Bad Manners in the "to-watch" pile from a few weeks ago.
