Kino Lorber and Scorpion Releasing are proud to present the Blu-ray debut of the 1986 cult action film EYE OF THE TIGER, starring Gary Busey (Lethal Weapon, Predator 2) as Buck Matthews, a Vietnam War veteran who is released from prison and goes back to his hometown to start his life over with his wife and daughter. He soon realizes that things have changed drastically in his small town as a sadistic biker gang has taken over, terrorizing the entire community.

Gary Busey. The Eye of the Tiger song played multiple times. What more could you ask for? How about an incredible supporting cast that includes the great Wiliam Smith (Red Dawn, Maniac Cop, Moon in Scorpio), Yaphet Kotto (Bone, Alien, The Running Man), Seymour Cassel (Colors, Cold Heaven), and Denise Galik (Don't Answer the Phone, Humanoids from the Deep). Stay tuned for more upcoming news about this brand new, upcoming blu-ray (from a Brand New 2020 HD master) release.

Yup. The movie was originally released as Day Of The Woman in the late 70s without the famous poster art. The I Spit On Your Grave title and poster didn't enter the picture until Charles Band acquired the film circa 1980, and hired a young Demi Moore as the model (who soon after he cast in his movie Parasite 3D).

Moore herself has even acknowledged in her memoir that it's her on the I Spit On Your Grave poster.

It looks nearly identical to the Ronin black box that the Haunt LE came packaged in.

Lemme know your thoughts on the new transfer for the first film. I passed on ordering this one since that is the only movie I'd be interested in... but I'm curious if it's much better than the old Anchor Bay Blu-ray.

I could see where Ronin will use this box for various releases. Honestly have no idea when I'll get around to watching this set. I already own two different blu-rays for the title.

I really don't feel that slip for I Spit on Your Grave has very good art or even represents the film that well. The original poster art would have looked fantastic on what looks like a really solid slip.

I would have liked to see artwork under the original Day of the Woman title.

Kino Lorber and Scorpion Releasing are proud to present this obscure Sci-Fi actioner from down under, The Time Guardian. Two soldiers from another galaxy hundreds of years in the future (who have been in an on-going war with Cyborgs known as Jen-Diki) go on a secret mission that puts them in South Australia circa 1988. It's that old classic tale of fish out of water who have to fight deadly robots from the future. The Time Guardian features Tom Burlinson (The Man From Snowy River), Nikki Coghill (Dark Age), Dean Stockwell (Quantum Leap), and the late, great Carrie Fisher (Star Wars). Coming soon to Blu-ray.

Scorpion Releasing is proud to announce the fun, out of this world Voyage Into Space. Pulled together using several episodes of Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot, Voyage Into Space has young Johnny and Giant Robot (who can only be controlled by Johnny) taking on Emperor Guillotine and his army of silly but fun kaiju henchmen. This title will be available at Ronin Flix. The first 800 units will include a mostly text-less Limited Edition Slipcover featuring artwork by Kung Fu Bob (Scorpion's Lone Wolf McQuade). Coming soon.

    Sleepless standard edition announced:
    https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=18429011&postcount=16507

And Ronin has some pretty good deals on these four packs:

    Dario Argento Flix (4 Pack)
    https://roninflix.com/collections/giftapalooza/products/dario-argento-flix-4-disc-set

    Badass Biker Flix (4 Pack)
    https://roninflix.com/products/badass-biker-flix-4-disc-set

Wish I'd known that they'd do it because during the last sale I ordered three outta four of the Dario Argento pack and still need the fourth.

I picked up 3 of the 4 Argento films during their last sale as well. I don't recall the prices but I would have gone for this deal if it had been available then.
