It's going to be one of the exclusive Blu-rays sold through Code Red's webstore.
In addition to these, the following DVDs will be going out-of-print as well:
The Last Grenade
The Day After Halloween
Don't Answer The Phone
Tainted Love / Shades Of Gray
Running Hot / Hot Target
Malibu High / The Hustler Squad
Second Time Lucky
Silver Dream Racer
Also, there should be an announcement later this week giving a date when the blu-rays of Mortuary, Don't Answer The Phone, Island Claws, and Girly will be going on sale.
Unless things have changed, Mortuary will be limited to 1,200 while the other three will be limited to 1,000. MSRP for PHONE and MORTUARY is 22.95, ISLAND CLAWS and GIRLY will be 24.95. These will be available on the Code Red website, Diabolik will be handing international sales.
WTF!...Still no Grizzly?
This sucks...what's the holdup?
Exactly. If I'm not mistaken the DVD is already out. An update would be appreciated.
Yeah Grizzly is the Scorpion title I have been eagerly awaiting. It's a shame it seems to be lost in limbo, especially when the DVD got a wide release. Their Day of the Animals Blu is my favourite release from Scorpion!
Mine too...the transfer is stunning.
my tutor is out of print on amazon. thank god I got the last one..

Another Short Eyes review:
I haven't seen any reviews anywhere for Avalanche yet, but can confirm that the transfer looks very nice.
Any word if titles like Humongous will be getting a blu ray release?
Unlikely. From what I understand, there's no source for a hidef transfer.
Cheers CPT. The DVD will do fine then.
Humongous was taken from a VHS Canada master, so it was kinda stretched out to make it look widescreen when it really wasn't, plus it had some interlacing issues too, so what we got is what we will have unless an unearthed print of the R rated version turns up someday..
Cheers for the info. I won't be holding my breath for that. I guess we will just have to make do with the DVD.
I am 100% certain that there have been 35mm prints of Humongous floating about theater circuits. The issue is the uncut version is only on tape master. A composite would be lovely. Some day.
A shame considering it is in my top 20 slasher films of the 80s. So underappreciated.
It's certainly a shame. I recently picked up The Carpenter, American Nightmare and Double Exposure. I hold no hope for these on blu ray either.
10am in which time zone: Eastern, Mountain, etc.?
