Whoa, 80's sword and sorcery and unreleased on DVD? I don't care what it is...gotta have it! :eek1:

I'm thinking maybe Sorceress since it's unreleased, but there's quite a few that still remain unreleased on DVD/BD.

Will this be DVD only, or Blu-ray also?

That's another that I'd like to see, and the sequel. I'm pretty sure it's with Warner though.

I'm still thinking Sorceress then. I seem to remember hearing something about a longer version of that, and it was a US film. The closest it's ever come to DVD is the trailer on Jack Hill's Switchblade Sisters DVD.

It could also be The Archer and a few others.

Very exciting. I love campy 80's sword and sorcery flicks. I'm sure its too good to be true that it's Jack Hill's SORCERESS. I think Shout is sitting on that.

Was there ever an 80's sword-and-sorcery film that WASN'T campy and goofy?
Only one I can think of is Beastmaster but they were all pretty much comedies, intentional or not, especially the Italian ripoffs. BTW, Sorceress was a New World Pictures title. I suppose Scorpion may have gotten this in a package deal with Zombie Nightmare. But why wait almost 2 years to release it?

    Conan the Barbarian.

And Beastmaster is way too campy and goofy.

Vulture eating is campy and goofy? That´s a first.

Although illegal under animal protection laws, vulture meat is consumed regularly in various parts of Africa.
