    I enjoyed the 4th installment and plan on picking it up on blu to go with parts 1-3 I already own on blu.

    how is it that anchor bay is releasing this? i know they've been trying to convince everyone that they're big boys now, but this seems a little out of their range, even now.

    What happened to the commentary that Craven recorded with some of the cast?

    They currently have a deal with Weinsteins / Dimension films to release their new movies on home video.

    Anchor Bay is owned by Starz. Starz and the Weinstein Company struck a deal so Anchor Bay could distribute Weinstein titles for x amount of time. Pretty simple...

    Ditto. Sore on the "no commentary" thing though.

    Would've loved to see what Craven revealed which lines were Ehren Kruger's and how much of Williamson's lines remained.

    The lowest price I found for the Blu-Ray is $27.99 at amazon.com. If anyone finds it cheaper at a another site please post here.

    I don't any reason to pre-order. It isn't as if this isn't going to be sold at every Target and Walmart across the country you know, and probably for about $20 on release day.
