Is it? it's being sold by Amazon themselves, not third party sellers, I'm sure they would not be selling bootlegs?

Fright Night Part II was released in Spain by a pirate label, Resen (Research Entertainment S.L.). Spain has become something of a hotbed for unlicensed content, and and a lot of this product is widely available through Amazon.es. The product looks official, but on closer inspection, you'll notice that there's no direct mention, whatsoever, of a distributor or a licensor. The fine print mentions a copyright, but doesn't specify to whom that copyright belongs.

The Spanish disc also freezes up in three different places. I was happy to get the media book from Diabolik about a week ago.

Yes I remember a couple of glitches, but was happy for the price, I'm not very happy however, about the validity of the products, I did think the information on the case was sparse, but as they were widely available within Spain I thought they had to be official, I can't understand how they can get away with this, and Amazon a big, global company with a reputation to uphold, be peddling these so openly.

This x 1,000. Same goes for any other film with unknown rights-holders. I bet whoever owns the rights would speak up instantly.
