Here's the cover art for the upcoming Zombi 2 disc.

It looks like there is going to be a single disc and a double disc version.

I'm not surprised. You know, it is petty of me, but these multiple versions Shriek Show has been doing lately are going to piss me off something terrible in the long run... I really see no point, at all.

I'm not fond of that cover art either.

I like the cover art, it's the lettering that looks a little shitty in my opinion.

The cover art seems okay – but it’s not really in keeping with the film. Actually, the whole tone of the film is lost in that cover. All those little “We are going to eat you” at the bottom look kinda lame. The cover for Zombie 2 (that rotting head) has become as integral as the movie itself, so any alternative they offer is going to shot down.

But who am I kidding? I’ll buy the two disc version.

Anyhow, why no info on this disc on the shriek show web site?

I'll be buying this no matter what the cover is, but hopefully it'll be a reversible cover with the original rotting head zombie on it.

  6. The cover is okay, but not nearly as good as the original.

I am more interested in the picture quality of the transfer on this one. I am anxiously waiting for a review when this one comes out.

A list of extras would help.

I think we're pretty much guaranteed that it will be better than AB's (although it isn't as bad as everybody makes it out to be) And the fact that it will have a 2-disc set make it a must have for me.

I could care less about the cover. It's all about the film itself.

I'm not toooooo fond of the new cover art but it doesn't really matter to me becuase i'll buy it either way. Shriek Show has gone overboard with all of the mutiple versions IMO.

It doesn't matter to me how many versions they put out. The way I see it, they're wasting their money, not mine.

Exactly and that could hurt them in the future.

True, but I guess they're also probably doing this to see if they can break into the rental market maybe, that would bring in truckloads more cash for them.

I actually like that cover. I always loved the image of the zombies heading into NYC - it looks so epic to me. Of course, this is no rotting head, but I think it's a very worthy runner up.

Of course it doesn't show the traffic as usual on the bridge...

I think the cover is ok, I just think that this cover doesent give you the same feeling of the rotting head cover. But I can always just make some different cover art using the rotting zombie head.

The rotting head was balls out, kick ass, you're in for a bloodbath type thing... "We are going to eat you!" Good god, you don't get marketing like that anymore. Instead you get a line of actor's heads looking thoughtful in a soap opera sort of way.
