Possibly.......... PG-13 "thriller" though. Can't help but be skeptical.

I get a Sin City vibe from that poster.

I see what you mean, though shouldn't she be a little more scantily clad? :p;)

Anyone catching this over the weekend? Early reviews aren't exactly flattering, but I wanna catch an early matinee Friday and as far as genre films are concerned, this is pretty much the only choice. Awful state of affairs, really.

*Edit, I forgot about Arrival. That is actually supposed to be half way decent.

I am going to see Shut In. HUGE Naomi Watts fan. Plus, it just looks creepy. I love those horror films where there is a strong sense of isolation when your trapped out in the middle of nowhere.

I want to see it. Love the winter atmosphere in the trailer, and that will probably be amplified on the big screen.

Unfortunately, my ticket money will probably be going to Arrival this weekend, and Edge Of Seventeen the next. I wish they had released it a week or two sooner.

Lack of ambition. Plus, the scathing reviews have kind of cooled me off on it. Currently has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

I saw this today during a matinee. There were about 20 in the audience. I like the isolation of the film. In the middle of fucking nowhere Maine and just generally a creepy setting. The acting was decent as well, but nothing new here and that hasn't been done before. They tried to be clever with this film - it failed. Pretty ordinary. 5 being average, I would give this a 6/10 - slightly above average - nothing to write home about but certainly worth a rental or for streaming.

Solid review Mr. Warden. I'll watch this when a good copy leaks online.

Color me a bit disappointed. I really like Naomi Watts but the film just wasn't what I hoped for.

Finally got around to watching this one. Reviews were a bit harsh. It's horror for the Lifetime crowd, think What Lies Beneath. Great winter atmosphere kept me watching. Totally unremarkable, but not a terrible time killer either.
