Oh fuck YES! Any chance this'll be in widescreen? I'd assume so, as Bill from Code Red stated that Lionsgate did a high-def remaster for this some time ago. It'll be nice to see this on the digital front, FINALLY!

I'll hang onto my 2 unrated VHS copies regardless for nostalgia sake.

Hmmm...I'm still not 100% convinced it'll be the R-rated cut (because press releases fuck up shit like that all the time) but fullscreen? That stinks. Maybe it'll be open-matte??? (I wouldn't mind that as much. You just hit 'zoom' and there you go, 1.78:1 widescreen.)

No excuse for a fullscreen DVD being released in the year 2009.

Lame that Lionsgate is still sporadically going down the full screen mine. Still, I'm happy to see another slasher off the list. I'll be picking up Repossessed because of my love for the Blair and Meatballs 4, and I'll get Irreconcilable Differences for the Ryan O'Neal fix.

Holy fucking shit! I never ever thought I'd see the day when this got a DVD release. But I'm also hoping that the R-rated and full screen are typos.... if not, petition 'ala My Bloody Valentine UNCUT' anyone???

hmm wait for the reviews and buy if it's at least uncut. But if it's cut and crap quality I will stick with the VHS version I have

I'll probably buy this regardless, but I'll be disappointed if it is cut and not in the OAR - though I can live with open matte.

I've been curious about Slaughter High for some time, but I don't really know what to expect from it. There are very few 80's slashers that I don't enjoy at least some aspect of - off the top of my head, I dislike Offerings, The Forest, The Slumber Party Massacre, and Silent Madness. ;)

I have Slaughter High on DVD-R sourced from the uncut laserdisc. And with Lions Gate and their Artisan legacy, who knows if this will even look any better...or be unrated.

I'll still keep my ancient VHS for the box art regardless.

Repossessed? Hell, that's been out on DVD for years now. I don't see how it's "Lost" like the others.

I enjoy the hell out of this movie, but if it's cut and fullframe, I'm not wasting my money. But yeah, this one isn't getting remade, so why should it get a halfway decent release?

Very cool this is finally coming out! But like others already said, I will be anticipating some reviews of what the real deal is with uncut/cut and ws/fs.
