Junior is a cool flick though, I'll always remember that box art though, classic. Haven't seen it in awhile though, might just pick it up again, thanks for reminding me hellers!

Eyes of a Stranger - good film, but fluxes between
sleeze and TV-movie quality. I remember seeing this on Ebert's Sneak Previews back in the day and they liked everything about it except for the violence...resulting in the classic thumbs down.

  5. Jesus god, take a look at this review of 'dweller' - one of the titles on the disc.
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0385667/

Sounds it was written by the actor/producer/director/FX man/composer & christ knows what else.
I particularly like the line 'The film decides to take a sharp, and very calculated, turn in direction, switching from a bloody Arthur Penn-like gangster film, to a creepy, man versus the unknown, sci-fi outing.'

Although the movie itself is pretty boring, Driller Killer is about as sleezy as you can get. New York slasher flicks seem to always be this way. Also, Tony Coca Cola is the fuckin man.

If it's twisted and nihilistic you are looking for, look no further than Beyond The Darkness available from Shriek Show on DVD. Not really a slasher film really, but I am sure it will appeal to you if you are a fan of Don't Go In The House, Maniac and Toolbox Murders.

One of the sleaziest horrormovies I've watched is Patrick Still Lives, great fun, and could almost be classified as porn :p

The sleaziest slasher has to be that movie within a movie in BLOW OUT. We only get to see a few minutes of COED FRENZY, but already there are people having sex at a party, a women masturbating and a prowler in the showers. All this, and Rob Zombie wasn't even making movies yet.

  18. you haven't seen sleazy til you see Born For Hell (aka Naked Massacre). its incredible.

Good call. I stumbled across that in one of those 50 movie box sets and my jaw dropped at how nasty it turned out to be.
