/\ Shout replied pretty quickly. Never had to contact them before, but great customer service so far.

Pretty ridiculous. Shout has to know that the majority of people that buy their stuff are collectors. You'd think they would put a bit more thought into secure packaging.

But yeah, their CS is pretty great. They replied quickly to my email and expedited the Blu's/posters to me in 2 days.

Grabbed both releases this past weekend. I hadn't seen them in maybe 10 years. They really held up for me. I always liked them when I was a kid but I feel like I "get" them more now.

I gave up on preordering from shout factory after the original sleepaway camp. Arrived well after release date and packaged p poorly. Manila envelope for a "collectable" poster the size of a trapper keeper. The early reviews had me dreading the blu-rays of 2 & 3, but I was more than pleased with both. For anyone who's viewed these 2 films since the 80's, the transfers are revealing & exciting. Huge upgrades from the AB dvds. I also enjoyed the new supplements. The original filming location visit is both fascinating and saddening. It's hard to believe the condition. They weren't filmed all that long ago...or I'm just old. On-film, the set seemed so forever.

I'll probably get Part 3 down the line. I find Angela's antics crazy in that one. I remember being disappointed with Part 2. I don't know why. I'll see it again one day. The first one is a movie to check out just for shocks. I never heard of it until I watched that Going to Pieces horror special.
