Yep, I love snow and we usually get quite enough around these parts were I live. I pity anybody living in Texas though. :D
Alrighty then. So get in the spirit and vote...

Cool idea for a poll. Many of those were tempting but I got to go with Jack chasing Danny in the maze in THE SHINING. Jack was just go good there, the memory of it makes me smile.

I went off the board and am doing a write-in for the snowy, chilly opening to Whale's "The Invisible Man". :)

Which movie was about the unprofessional hockey team that ends up facing the best National hockey team on their own turf? That was a good movie but I can't remember the title.

As far as horror related, I'll go with Storm Of The Century. Great snow storms in that one. But since its not listed I'll ultimately go with The Shining. ;)

It was a toss-up for me between THE THING and THE SHINNING. In the end though I had to go with mix master Kubrick. That scene were Jack chases Danny is one of the best and most memorable of the horror genre, IMO.

I voted for THE SHINING. No one has made snow look so ominious and evil as Stanley Kubrick did in that film.

Any scene from The Thing. Thats my favorite snow flick off all time. Runner up honors would go to Misery.

Thanks nofxafi, that was the name of that movie. I still couldn't think of it 'til you said it. Thanks man...a burden lifted. ;)
