star trek on ld

    my local video store has a whole section marked star trek in their a-z line up. is this normal? are there anything special about any of the star trek discs?

    There were a lot of Star Trek releases on laserdisc. I know all of the original series and much of TNG were released onto domestic LD. There's nothing special about them. The DVDs are probably a better deal.

    The original series discs have 2 episodes per disc, in CLV format, with analog sound. No extras whatsoever.
