Anybody planning on picking up the DVD? It's definitely on my list.
Presented for the very first time in Widescreen (2.35:1), should be a revelation! :)

  2. I have never seen or heard of this, but is does have Fiona Lewis, so I might have to hunt it down for a rental.

According to Fango's Chopping List, Elite is giving us a commentary with Michael Laughlin & Bill Condon, deleted scenes, a still gallery, and an isolated score. (Tangerine Dream, yay!) Sounds like a decent disc...

It is a pretty good movie and I'm looking forward to this release. My local ma and pop video store is really something. Last month they were selling a lot of horror flicks on VHS (including Strange Behavior) for $3. Now, each of those films have been given an official DVD release date.
I'm glad I held off on buying the VHS of SB - now I only hope THE DARK is getting a widescreen release.

We got a screener of this last week. I'm hoping to have a review up soon.

It's a fun movie. I caught it on satellite around 4 or 5 years ago when I still subscribed to the movie channels.

This film seems to have developed something of a cult following. It's no masterpiece but it's a worth a spin if you want a little light viewing...

From what I remember, the opening is a real head-turner. No pun intended......

So, what is the verdict? Should I check this out? I have been thinking about it but can't make up my mind.

I'm going to stick with my VHS of STRANGE BEHAVIOR, which I got a few years ago at a used video sale, it's a nice looking VHS, and it was hardly ever rented.

STRANGE BEHAVIOR is an ok Slasher film, but it's nothing great. The cast is good, which inlcudes Louise Fletcher, the lovely Dey Young, and Fioni Lewis. The film has a few good moments, but it really drags in some spots, and it's somewhat of a dull ride. I really would only pay about $5 for the film, which is what I got my VHS for.

It's worth a look, but it's not one of my favorites.

Yep, I'd agree with Richard's verdict. I know that some people love this film but it's pretty average, IMHO...I wouldn't want to part with hard cash for this film if I could catch it on satellite or whatever.

Oh that review sounds just like my kind of movie. It is going on the wishlist right away. I can tell I will like this already.

Supposedly Severin will be releasing this on a blu-ray / DVD combo pack under the title Dead Kids in the not too distant future.

^^ Nice, if it's indeed true. The Elite and Synapse transfers on the DVD editions are over a decade old now, so it could use a good HD upgrade.
