Anyone seen this yet and if so what did ya think?

It aint out on DVD yet AFAIK but people have been telling me its available via the usual illegal eBay means but i don't want to bother with those versions if the quality is crappy... any ideas on how I can go about getting this film or if any DVD release is coming?

is this the one with the documentary crew who are filming people committing suicides?? if it is then theres an alternative title called FinalCut.com and it being played around film festivals at the moment , so im sure someone will pick it up for a DVD release soon... i hope im talking about the same movie? lol
If it is this then apparantly the BBFC here in the UK have viewed the film and decided to give it an uncut cinema release. I havent seen it but it meant to be downright shocking and depressing, kinda like a cross between `Man Bites Dog` and a (fake!) snuff film.

I've heard this compared to Battle Royale due to its "rebellious kids" plot. I really havent heard much about it except that its heavy on the gore side and has lots of mass suicide. I'd get a DVD if I can find one somewhere.

Ya, this movie is good. The opening is nuts!! The blood, she flows like a river over the platform of the train station and everyone is drenched. Tha scene at the high school is pretty wild as well. Get this movie as soon as you can, the boots on ebay are alright. Good subs and all. :)

  8. I know the import DVD's are available since one of our local video chains as an "Exclusive import" section and part of that section is Suicide Club.

I posted a review a couple of months ago, great opening gore, but the story is a bit slow. Overall, I really enjoyed the hell out of this flick - ten times better than The Eye IMHO...

I lost interest in "The Eye" when we saw the kid chewing on candles, then (50 minutes later) you think the movies is over, but wait - there's more. Total CGI burnout by the end. I'd rather watch Cross-Fire (or whatever Shriek Show calls it) than to watch the boring style of "The Eye".

Suicide Club is fantastic, I recommend it highly! There is some really sick shit there coupled with a fantastic and subtle story.

Hmm, I am going to order this now, it sounds super. I only hope you don't have to hate The Eye to like this movie, as I found that movie to be horrifying.

At any rate, thanks for the tip on this movie. That is why I love you guys so much.

This is not same as FinalCut.com
I have seen finalcut and suicide club(or suicide circle the japanese title). They
    are 2 different movies!

Finalcut are ok but not special.
Suicide club are great, and weird! Especially the opening, the kitchen scene and
    the school scene!

I'm all over this region 1 NTSC version. I've read alot of good things about this movie and this thread only seems to support the positive word of mouth.

Ok, I watched this movie a couple days ago... and I have yet to digest what I have seen. I am definitely going to watch it again.

I must say the movie's start in the subway tunnel is very original and eye-opening (understatement), and that momentum is carried over through the majority of the film. Yet in my humble opinion it does get a bit hard to decifer towards the end.

I would love to have someone share their thoughts as to the meaning of the ending with me.

I just got it and that is how I feel too. It was interesting and had some incredible images but I am still a bit too "What?" and "Huh?" to make any real sense out of it. No shame in my game, there were things in this movie I just didn't get at all. I am going to have to watch it again and see if I can put a few more things together.
