    Lmfao I do now!

I just watched the extended cut of BvS and loved it. I'll admit I could barely distinguish it from the theatrical version, but I found the plot unfolded better than I remembered.

Don't understand the hate for that one. It's up there on the top shelf for super hero films.

Even though I didn't like BvS (still haven't seen the extended version), I'm gonna give this one a chance, and keep my expectations at zero.
Some love it, some hate it, just as with BvS. So let's see which side I end up at, later tonight ;)

Is Batman in this one? I though I saw him at one point in the trailer?

The only future DC movie I'm waiting for now, is the solo Batman film.

He sure is, and don't leave right away after the credits roll. There's another scene.

I liked BvS when I saw it mainly because the actors are great and they give it their all. It's choppy due to the editing which has been addressed with the Ultimate Cut.

Suicide Squad does not deserve the vitriol it's receiving from the "critics". It's a mismash of seven different versions. The blu-ray is going to require another Blade Runner esque suitcase with every cut when it comes out (not a bad idea by the way).

The film, like BvS, features actors that obviously loved making it and got into their parts. Will Smith and Margot Robbie really bring these characters to life and that's what it's all about. Killer Croc didn't work for me because that's not how I see that character. The dialogue, music and jokes are hit and miss, but WB aimed to appeal to everyone.

In the end, I wish WB would have had the backbone to stick with their director. These movies don't need audience screen tests. Comics aren't always perfect, in fact I find that many suck. Don't look to Rotten Tomatoes for an aggregate score either. I encourage everyone reading this to look up the films you own and see what the scores are. Chances are you'll never give a shit about Rotten Tomatoes ever again when you're done.

I love DC's characters and never cared for Marvel, however the success of both studios are important for the genre. I don't give a shit about Captain America or Ant Man, but I could also care less about Gorilla Grodd, Blue Beatle or Shazam.

Watching Margot Robbie as Harley was like watching Batman The Animated Series for the first time again. I want that feeling again with many other characters in many other movies to come.

I found the choice of music really lame. Like look at us trying to be hip & retro.

I agree, but the soundtrack is number 1 for a second week in a row on the Billboard's top 100 (for what that's worth). It worked.

    Well, I'll be damned!
Both me and my girlfriend loved the movie :)

Didn't have any problems with the editing either.
Though I don't have much knowledge about what was cut out and changed.
But I guess some of those flashbacks used to be longer, or "regular" scenes.

To my surprise, I actually liked most of the characters as well.
And as someone who isn't the biggest fan of Will Smith, I thought he was great in this one.

It's too bad that we didn't get enough time, to really get to know the new Joker.
But he had more scenes than I expected.
I though he would just show up in a scene or two.
I didn't expect much from him, but I kinda liked what we got so far.

And, yes, as has been mentioned before.
The final battle, did remind me of the climax in Ghostbusters :D
Especially an exterior shot, of the building, made me think of "Gozer HQ" ;)

The soundtrack was a bit hit and miss. And at the introduction of Harley, the choice of music, felt like they wanted to go a bit "Tarantino".
Also horrible choice during a scene with the Joker and Harley, that made me wanna put spikes through my eardrums...
    The rest was fine.

Now, I want an extended R-rated cut ;)

Much of the footage where the Joker displays his unpleasant side to Harley was cut.

And of course the 4K disc only has the theatrical version.

Surely not. If that's the case then that's truely bizarre.

Sadly, from the info, the 4K only has the theatrical version.
Guess they want us to double dip in the near future o_O

Hopefully the info is wrong though.

Wonder if it will be an R-rated cut, or still PG-13?
Anyways, happy about an extended version :)

Well the details are pretty scarce atm so it could be wrong. It just seems odd. If they want to push 4K and have it do well then it shouldn't be an inferior edition to the bluray.
I was also curious if the rating will now be R, yet another detail they haven't touched on yet.
