Yeah, this show has its faults, but it is one of the best offerings of the genre on TV and it's very entertaining. Hopefully it'll last. Night Stalker wasn't very good, and alas it is cancelled!!

More like, "YAY! It's cancelled!". It really didn't deserve to continue.

I really enjoyed the "Supernatural" episode with Amy Acker. I've tried to stay tuned to this show, but I keep forgetting what day/time it is on. Interesting premise and it always looks cool. Plus, that black car the brothers cruise in is pretty slick.

    Amy Acker. In a bathtub.

How did this series compare to something like X-Files? Is it worth picking up when it hits DVD?

Sort of the same, but not as "serious" as X-Files. It has scary as well as funny moments like X, but the tone is a bit different. I think it's worth picking up! I am taping them every week and putting them on DVD-R.

And workshed, the same episode is on 2 times a week. Tuesday and Sunday.

And this week's episode was the worst piece of shit so far!! Not only were they trying for TCM, but it was totally out of place in the context of the series, and the script... I just have to say the scriptwriter is a FUCKING moron. What a joke!! The cop trusts him, she goes into the place without backup, the gun jams out of the blue. I can't say enough about how much I hated this episode!

It's funny. For a second there I thought I was watching TCM, then I remembered I was watching Supernatural. I didn't mind the story, or that it was a change from the rest of the serie's storylines, sometimes it's a good idea to get away from the "monster of the week" concept.

I'm just not too happy with the cop's character. She just didn't really bring much to the story. Just seemed like the "woman-of-the-week". Plus she seemed pretty damn stupid.

Oh well. Not the worst I've seen, but not the best either. They really need to start focusing on the main mystery of what killed their mom rather than each ep being stand alone. The show could get a little tired if they keep as they're going right now.

Yeah, the cop is definitely the biggest problem with the story!! It's looks like next episode will get back to the main mystery again!

Supernatural is one of the best TV shows I have ever watched. It is a huge relief to watch a TV horror show that is actually creepy and at time scary.

It still a show I really love, but it is hit or miss whether it's a good episode. Most of the time it is good, and it's better than most of the stuff on TV nowadays!!

I wish we knew what The CW is going to do with the various UPN and WB shows. This has done well, but we really have no idea what that network is going for. The uncertainty hanging over shows like this one that I like is really bothering me.

Is this show still airing? If so, how's it been going?

The season finale was this past week Pat. The show kept getting better and better. Out of a 22 episode season, I'd say there were about 3 stinkers, but all in all, I loved the show. I am a bit pissed it ended in a cliffhanger, but that's par for the course with most series today and it's not like I'm not coming back for season 2!!

There have been a few clinker episodes, but all in all, I think it has been a great season. The cast is really good, which makes even the clunkers fun to watch. I hope it comes back for season 2. It looks like a sure thing, but we will see what The CW does. The DVD is coming out on 9/5, and I will be getting it for sure. I love that cover art.

Thanks for the heads up guys, and I'll consider the DVD set.
    So, it's been confirmed there'll be a season 2?

That picture is what made me watch the series in the first place. It was in Entertainment Weekly. I'd love to get the boxed set, but I've been taping every one of them off the air and have them all on DVD-R, so I'll probably put my money into other boxed sets!!

Yeah, I far as I know it is renewed for Season 2.

A decent finale. I got pretty tired of these two kids' love for their dad, or at least hearing about it every week. Over and over. "Dad!" "Is Dad ok?" "Would Dad approve?" "Is that Dad?" "What do you think Dad would do?" "Dad always liked you better." "Dad, watch out for the ghost!"

Overall, this series was really solid. Some good scares, good gore for television, two cool main characters, and always hot women. I actually prefer the series as a bunch of stand-alone episodes, as I could not care less what happens to their father and if he ever gives his sons his approval, or whatever the hell they are looking for from him. It's just a badass idea to have two guys cruisin' around in a black beast, blasting demons and blasting classic rock tunes.

Anyway, I'll definitely be looking for this show again in the Fall. Here's hoping.

I love all the episodes, but the best this season was Hell House and Devil's Trap, and I will be buying the DVD, and also the 5th Season of Smallville. I would be nice if both Supernatural and Smallville would come out on the same day on DVD.
