Looks good! Like some of those names I see involved as well. Hopefully it plays in a theater near here.

I saw it at Horrorhound Weekend and it was pretty good. Like with all anthologies some stories were good and some were bad. The least interesting stories seemed to be pushed to the second half of the film, which made it feel like it was going on longer than it probably actually was. My favorite segment was actually the first, but I was never bored even if I didn't feel the film reached those heights again. If I was going to rewatch a Halloween anthology, it'd be Trick 'r Treat. But you could do a lot worse if you want a newer anthology with more of a comedic bent.

    Hits VOD platforms this weekend.

Going to be a big genre weekend between this, Goosebumps, Crimson Peak, and 8 Films To Die For. So much new stuff to check out, the next week should be pretty fun!

I loved it and thought it was the perfect movie to get me into the Halloween spirit. Completely adored the Halloween atmosphere, colors, and lighting, as well as the non-stop barrage of familiar genre faces. Even though it was just a really small part, I loved the connecting element of Adrienne Barbeau as the radio host, channeling her inner Stevie Wayne. And although the segment wasn't one of my favorites, having Pollyanna McIntosh and Marc Senter together was magic. McIntosh's performance is the best in the entire movie. Robert Russler and Caroline Williams in Dave Parker's segment were also a fun treat.

The stories themselves were maybe a little repetitive, but I found them extremely consistent. The only one I flat out disliked was Paul Solet's entry, so 9 out of 10 isn't too shabby for an anthology. Mike Mendez provided my favorite of bunch, and I also really dug Adam Gierasch's and Ryan Schifrin's.

Can't wait to pick up the blu-ray, as this is definitely one to revisit every October. And I hope everyone comes together for a More Tales Of Halloween maybe an October or two down the road.

Paul Solet's wasn't the weakest but the one with the chick from Starry Eyes. Lame pay off in that one. Solet's had a great ending at least.

That wasn't one of the better entries, but I found it suitably atmospheric. Lin Shaye makes everything she's in better, and I was hypnotized by Mick Garris's elegant mane.

Solet's just felt like an amateur skater video. Although I'm really liking burgeoning scream queen Grace Phipps. Wish she had a bigger role in Fox's Scream Queens.

Pretty good variety in this one. A really great dose of Halloween. Maybe not as good as Trick or Treat but still a keeper.

Saw this last night and I thought it was pretty good! I enjoyed the cameos and references that I could spot. My only complaint would be that I wished they would have transitioned the stories in a more seamless format. Sometimes I couldn't tell where one story ended and another began.

Liked this one too. Tend to like anthologies and this one supports why.

Yeah maybe. Though that seems like a long wait. Guess I'll have to see if I can rent it if it's not announced soon.

I would actually watch this were it streaming. (On Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu.)

    Too bad it isn't.

This is the same place (Epic Pictures Releasing) that released the Turbo Kid set, so a cheaper price probably will not be soon in coming. They'll most likely only sell in on Amazon via their Marketplace account.
