Hopefully they use that new HD print. I'll wait till I see the final specs before I decide if i wana double dip. It sounds good so far though.

This is one film and can't help but double dip on. Looks like HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER is getting the works too.

I think it's Texas Chainsaw Massacre getting the new special edition treatment, not TCM 2.

Too bad I already double-dipped on the Region 2 version of TCM...which I only did because of the "Shocking Truth" doc. Figures. Now, if I want the longer version, I have to buy a third. It IS my fav though...we'll see.
Sounds like HENRY will be a must-have for the double-dip.

It's to the left of A, above Shift and below Tab.

I'm reverse. I never bothered with the R2 TCM but have the pretty cool Henry R2. I'll still double dip for this new set though. :)

    If it's 16:9, I'm double dipping :)

  15. I will also do the double dipping, TCM is by far one of my favorite films and with a documentary included too . It's also a good thing i have not brought Henry yet, good thing i waited as this new edition of Henry is going to be great.

Ahhh ok.... well, TCM2 deserves a special edition anyway. :)

I'm a bit pissed that I sprung for that reissue of the original SE when the remake came out, but I'll no doubt double-dip for the extras and the anamorphic widescreen.

It has one. Just not on DVD. Anchor Bay made a special edition VHS back in the late '90s. The film is remasterd and it has deleted scenes and a trailer. I would love for them to release that bad boy on DVD. And maybe they can include a commentary with Savini and/or Hooper. But the last I heard MGM had the rights to TCM2.

I might pick up TCM, I have the Pioneer special edition (only cost $6). I was never a huge fan of this film. I'll be picking up the Henry special ed for sure though as I have yet to purchase a copy of that.

I'll see how it compares to my R2 copy, but chances are I won't double dip.
