i will probably start of the first week on just slasher films, 3-4 a day. it will be really hard for me, October always is, Halloween Parties, going to Haunted Houses, State Fair, Six Flags Fright Fest. it will be tough, but i think i can manage it.

For those of you who want to revisit your last year's list , here is the 32-page thread from 2007, also started by maskull.
Looking over that thread again, I am struck by just how much better last year's fall releases were compared to this year. Was that was the ultimate release line up? Quite possibly. Regardless, I am all set to make this a great October no matter how "eh" the release schedule is.
Of course I am in! Not sure what I will start with... but it will probably be something with Vampires since I love vampire movies.
I know 10/28 alone is pretty heavy: Assault! Jack the Ripper (1976) Beyond, The (Uncut) - Remastered Special Edition Fascination (1979) In the Folds of the Flesh (1970) Patrick (Australian Extended Version) - Special Edition (1978) Pieces - Special Edition (1982) Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead - Eggs-clusive 3-Disc Collectors Edition (2006) Strange Behavior - Special Edition (1981) Syngenor: SYNthesized GENetic ORganism - Special Edition (1990) Thirst (1979) Zombie Strippers - Unrated Special Edition (2008) Synapse will blow their full load of Elite acquisitions. Plus Grindhouse finally makes an appearance.
If any of you get a chance do take the time to track this film down. It's one of my favorites and I'm sure some of you would like it allot. It's a really good murder mystery kind of sort of horror. Have any of you seen it?
In addition to these, I think we have some good releases coming out in October: Psycho: Universal Legacy Series Special Edition Vertigo: Universal Legacy Series Special Edition Exploitation Cinema Double Feature: Mausoleum/Blood Song Ghost House Underground 8 Film Collection Sweet Sixteen: Director's Cut Beetlejuice (SE) (Blu-Ray) Halloween: 30th Anniversary Box Set Granted it can't touch last years releases, but not that shabby.

I think you will be the one to beat this year! I'm pretty sure last year I remember being in awe of how much you watched as well. Also, that's a good idea how you set up your lists, would you be terribly upset if I stole it off you, and organized what I watch the same way?
