OK, we've all seen this a million times, own it on DVD or whatever, but there's something about The Beyond being on basic cable that is........is.......well, I don't know what it is. But I'll probably be tuning in!

It does my heart good to know that the same network that gives us great Judy Garland marathons and SINGIN' IN THE RAIN will also air a guy getting eaten by spiders and zombies getting the tops of their heads blown off.God Bless America !

I'm not sure exactly what that means but it will nice to see it in HD if that is the case.

I'd be more interested to see the promo spot ads and commercials they'd / might show. That would be a trip in itself. I have the movie.

I don't understand a word of any of this discussion, but it sounds damn saucy if you ask me.

It would be really funny if they made this part of "The Essentials".

I'll check it out to see how it looks on the HD channel. I just programmed my DVR to record it here from my computer at work. That's a cool new feature for Comcast, although it doesn't make up for the fact that they're still a complete rip-off.

TCM aired Galaxy of Terror a couple of weeks ago but it was windowboxed. I'm sure The Beyond will be letterbxoed and not anamorphic. Still cool though that Fulci is playing on cable.

TCM is commercial free and uncensored...I should be arriving home by the time Underground starts up, so I'll definitely try and tune in and perhaps pass out to some Fulci.

Then I recommend you all DVR the movie so you can stop every 11 minutes to watch the Youtube video for Ped Egg.

then prepare for disappointment. It's letterboxed SD . Still, it's The Beyond uncut on basic cable.

Kind of mind-blowing considering what it went through to get an R rating back in the day.

Oh good, it aired. I've never seen this, recorded it and was hoping this wasn't going to turn into another Massacre at Central High fiasco where TCM listed it in their NOW PLAYING guide but didn't air it. That was pretty embarrassing after I started a thread announcing it.

    Bah...
I have *several* DVD copies for that.
Still desperate for this film on Blu.
Glad to see it air uncut though! 7 Doors of Death just isn't the same film... ;)
