Cuz I love all ya'll. Although not sure how much I like this artwork, the more I look, the less I like.
I found another scan of this online, but it was bright and washed out looking.

This is one of the few films that still manages to scare the living shit out of me. Something about the suspense leading up to the attack scenes... and then there's the attack scenes that come out of left field and hit you over the head.

Even the score creeps me the hell out.

Same here, it's one of the few horror films I can honestly say scared me shitless when I first saw it as a kid...and it still sends shivers down my spine today.

I also own the music score CD on Intrada, great stuff!

Yeah this is a great and actually scary movie! Hope they include all of the extras, if so this will be an instant buy.

Very happy about this, if there's one dvd I regret selling off it's the original AB release of The Entity. Genuinely creepy paranormal film, I can't wait to see it again.

AnchorBay finally has it listed on their website.

The Features are only listed under the DVD though, but hopefully they're on the BD too...surely? I've seen other movie listings on their website where the bonus features are listed under both formats, so it seems odd.

well....... the website says alphabet killer has special features too, but zilch on that blu ray. Kind of untrustworthy, will wait for reviews I guess. Shame as it's a favorite

A forum member review has been spoted (see post #23)!:

    http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?p=6107286&posted=1#post6107286

"Update. It's in its' original aspect ratio of 2.39:1! Picture quality is really nice too, three dimensional, grain apparent and natural, nice detail and black levels, close ups look really good. There are no extras though, not even a pop up menu or trailer, not sure why Anchor Bay didn't port the extras, because there were some good ones like the documentary feature"

I still don't get why AB isn't porting over DVD extras (though films like Joe Somebody did get some of the DVD extras ported for the Blu release)? Someone oughta tell them about this.

Okay then, Anchor Bay officially SUCKS!
Not even a menu? None of the old extras? PATHETIC!

Surely it has optional English subtitles? Even The Terrorists Blu-ray had those included.

:fucked:There...I've vented. I knew they'd screw this one up...just knew it. At least the transfer is good, but still...HD should look good. They literally screw up every other Blu-ray release. What a lazy studio they've become.

Damn, what a shame. I may pick it up if it's below $10. If they're charging more than that then it's a ripoff.

That's a damn shame about the extras. I'll still be picking this up as I've always wanted to see it and never managed to snag the DVD. Guess I'll just keep my eye out for the old disc too...

Bargin bin or nothing from me also. I will not support companies who offer up shit like this, esp. when they already have the fucking supplements and are just too fucking lazy to include them. I bet it wouldn't even cost them anything extra but an intern's time to have included them. No way a menu can cost more than a couple bucks!

Fucking assholes, glad I have to the dvd already, saves me from having to go find it. Plus with only semi-interest in the title...
I would've jumped if the features were there, without them I don't think I care enough to buy it. I'll wait for a used store to make sure NOT to support AB on this one!

That's the problem with Pre-ordering titles, Mine's already on the way now!!

Shit that AB can't be arsed with the extras, Sold my DVD when I heard this was coming...BALLS!!!!

At least the transfer is up to par, Feckin' AB and their region locking too, Gonna have to watch it in my 5 yr old US Panasonic BD30..Hope it holds out.

Ehh, I'm not too concerned about the lack of extras. I never got around to getting the dvd, so I'm happy to finally get the movie (and on BD no less). Amazon has the preorder up for $12.99--$13 beats the shit out of the old OOP dvd prices...
